Has anybody else noticed that the vocabulary list used on Typing Terror contains some questionable words? Several of these words will get you frozen or at least warned if used on the Neoboards. I think it's rather ironic that TNT uses the words in their new game, when they don't allow us to use them on the site.

Btw, this new game rocks! I really enjoy it - I'm just not sure some of the words are appropriate. :roll:

Yeah, I saw Queerest and was like "You can't say thaaaat!"
Good game though. One word I had to type was Warcraft. :lol:

There's nothing wrong with the word queer. It's just that it's acquired a second slang meaning that's not so great.

No, there's nothing wrong with the word "queer" or "gay" (which is also in the Typing Terror game). However, my point is this: if we were to use those words on the Neoboards, guild boards, or Neomail, we would be warned or frozen for inappropriate language.

Yeah, the double-standard there is not good.

However, don't all those typing games use words from user-submitted dictionaries?

I had the word "Naked", "virgin" and I've had a lot of other questionable words... what really ticks me off is that my main account just got frozen the other day for an inappropriate username "bornagainvirgin"

I suppose it's whatever's in the 'dictionary' - I got a questionable word in evil thade. It could probably be taken in the sense of a 'shag carpet', but...:/
