(this topic is about the new dutch translation of neopets. Because I'm curious about what the other dutch people thought of it I started writing in dutch)

Seeing that most of the staff here speaks and reads English, it's often hard to moderate threads that are in a different language (because for all we know there could be something offensive in what you're saying.) If we can get into English in this thread it would be appreicated. :)

on some pages it looks as if it was translated using babelfish or something, now neopets looks like a kiddie-site to me...

I used it for 5 minutes and then changed back to English because I can't play NQII in Dutch.

Tried it for the fun of it... back on English. Pages also seem to load far slower when using Dutch and i cannot stand the translations half of the time, what with all the mistakes they made.. nah. Nice they did it, but I won't use it. Just once more, to see what they translated the neuky with...

Korbat lover. Always sees a tunnel at the end of those lights.

NQII is in English no matter what language you pick.. which is handy since the other languages don't have ads at the bottom of the page. ;)

I'm actually using it
Was a bit weird at first, but really, it's not that bad, a lot better than I had expected to be honest!

One thing was funny, when it said something on the top of the page about learning foreign languages and the page not being translated into Dutch yet, when it was in Dutch :p
