Can any one suggest which shops are better for those on dial up? Obviously no shops are really slow but there must be easier as well as harder ones?

I haven't been able to restock. At all. I just don't bother anymore and I have dialup. I play games everyday, make about 10K, invest in the stock market, and eventually find a good deal in the auctions.

Oh I hadn't thought about the Stock Market thanks for the tip. And it's looks like you are right about restocking and dial up. It's not so bad in official shops but when the shop wiz comes up with a bargin and someone's graphics/mp3 refuses to download. Agggggh!!!

Most of the time when I'm on neopets, I disable images so everything loads alot faster, unless I'm playing a game that needs images enabled.

Oh I had forgotten that you could do that. Tools - Internet Options and so on .... This has been well worth posting about. Thanks again.

I totally gave up on restocking on my slooow dial-up connection a couple years ago. I make my NPs with games and stock market investments. If you invest in 1000 shares of stock every single day, you eventually make a lot. It takes a while though to get a decent portfolio built up.
