It's never been flash for me. It's always been HTML. I've been around about 38, 39 months now.

It has, but I guess they just went to the flash map without choosing instead of HTML.

Yup, the flash option has been there forever. HTML is default though.

And you're not alone, I don't know how many people have gone "Woah! Where did that come from?" while watching me browse Neopets & seeing the spaceship go by.

I think it may be on newer accounts. I was on a new account (2, 3 months max) when I saw it, I logged back into my main account (38/39 months. 38 on the shield, 39 on the Neoboards) and it was HTML. *blink*

My accounts are aged 1 year, 5 months, 4 months and 3 months and they all default to html - maybe it's the settings on your browser rather than the account age? Or much newer accounts...I'm not really sure, heh. It looks quite cool in flash though, I'll maybe keep it like that for a while :D *watches space ship*

Well, if you visit the explore map while not logged in, I think it's Flash.
