Right, the whole 9 months I've had this account I've been saving for the Lab Map. I'm only about 10K or so away from my last piece, and I'm not sure which pet I want to zap.

I've had a pink Aisha that I've trained some at Mystery Isle and Coltzan; here are her stats:

Level : 16

Health : 42 / 17
Mood : joyful
Hunger : bloated
Strength : GREAT (25)
Defence : godly
Move : lightning

I've not gotten the pink popcorn avvie yet, but once she gets out of the Neolodge I've got a popcorn item in my SDB. I don't really care about her color after that, but I really want her to stay an Aisha. How often do species changes occur? How good is the Lab for training?

Other than her, I've got a green Lupe, a red Hissi, and a red Gelert. I've never trained any of these. I want the Lupe and Hissi to stay at their species, but I don't care too much about the Gelert's species.

Should I zap my Aisha or my Gelert?

EDIT: Problem solved. ^^

It's really up to you, but I'd like to say that the lab seems to have a tendancy to make a very drastic change in the first few days, then not do much other than raise stats for about 2 months.

I've got an entire lab log if you wanna see some trends :P

I labbed my lupe for a couple years. He has a very lupe-ish name (with "wolf" in it), so I just bought a lupe transmog. potion before I started labbing so I could change him back when I was done. The lab changed his species a LOT. If you don't want to shell out for an aisha potion, you should lab the gelert, because your aisha will change if you lab her for a while.

Hmm... the Aisha Transmogs cost about 70-80K a pop... I could probably earn that back in a week or so if I went back to my 10K game regimen. I'd hate to start training another pet after I'd shelled out on the Aisha, too, so I'll stick with her.

Thanks for your advice.

buy the potion and go ahead and lab her, after you're completely done labbing her just keep up at it and hopefully she changes back into an aisha eventually and if it does sell the potion anyways. I love the lab for training my battle pet it's saved me a ton in codestones that I would have had to spend in training

The main downside with the lab is that it always kills your level and defence. If you use it on your main pet, you'll have crazy attack and hp, but you won't be able to really use a shield. It's an ok tradeoff, since it does save you a lot and can give you some cool colours
