I'm not so sure I am happy with the new swarm. The scoring is different and the game is tougher to play. I guess no more 3k off of playing it

Though the bugs look strangly familiar to my first ever art gallery submission. I did a flat scene in illustrator of my ruki shooting down red beetle like bugs with green or yello eyes... :o

Makes me want to find that drawing. Though I think they modeled them after the beetle petpet, not my drawing.

The new Swarm is interesting. I got my highest score out of it ever with this new version- 4250 or so, but because of the powerups- namely the fast/big bullets, wall restore, and laser. The waves aren't really increasingly harder, but the sheer amount of bugs are really making it run slow. Also, the bug running around the top destroys a lot more wall than the old version.

However, it makes a very tedious 1000 NP.

Gah...I'm getting behind on my Buzz gallery for sure now. >_< Must get plushie...too cute!

Anyone notice that the Scarblade BG image is the EXCAT same one from Scarblade Day? XD

Ummm... I'm a little slow. But, what the heck is penultimate? :o

I honestly hope they don't make the end of the plot a "Kelpbeard comes in to save the day and in doing so the pirates are automatically PWNed" sort of thing, which they actually seem to be setting up. Even if the Maraquans win (and I'm guessing they will), the final battle should be quite a challenge for the plot characters.

Just a fancy word for "second to last"

On 4/4 on Chapter 20.... It isn't loaded for me.
Can someone screencap it for me?

Click here for a screenshot of page four...

FRAME ONE
As the tide of battle turns, the realisation slowly dawns on the pirates that their captain is elsewhere-- and they have nowhere to run.

FRAME TWO
Talek: Bring on the next scoundrel!

FRAME THREE
Red Peophin: Anyone would think you were enjoying this, sir.

FRAME FOUR
As night falls for the rest of Neopia, King Kelpbeard begins his battle, determined to free his kingdom once and for all.

I got 2,453, my first try (minus the one I had to close-so I could set the graphic quality to very poor) so it is possible for me to make 3k off of it, but like you said it took me awhile. it took me about an hour, though it could have been more. I wasn't timing myself.

Looks like they have a limited number of rounds, because I didn't die, but I was forced to send my score after about round 10. o_O

I got close to 6k on my first try just now, beat all 10 waves.
Think I might have a chance to win a trophy?

Edit: 1st place on the score board so far is 4,499. :o

*crosses fingers while waiting for her score to be reviewed*

Double Edit: I just realised I played on my lab account and not my main one.

Easy 3k for me on Swarm 2 *nods*

It DOES run a tad slow, but it's much more fun I think; I happen to like taking chances with nowhere to hide from massive flame drops ;)

High score's around 3543 points. I got up to the ninth wave and then casually "forgot" I had nowhere to hide anymore and subsequently got 'splodied by a wave of fireballs

Wed Jun 08, 2005 9:04 am

Second try got me 6385 points.
On my main account, this time. -_-

The quest we tried had us investigating a crypt in search of a prince's family history so that he could prove to his fiancée's parents that he was of a royal bloodline.

First this:

._. I thought Neopets weren't allowed to date.
