A complete stranger just sent me a 2 dubloon coin, I was confused, so I neomailed them to ask why (and to say thanks) and he said he did it just out of randomness. I reply back saying he's very generous etc, we make small talk... then all of a sudden I see the little "present" icon indicating a new gift, I click on it (forgot to check who sent it) and there was a Split Paint Brush in my inventory x.X;; Now, the pessimist in me feels like he got hacked, and some stranger is giving away all his hard earned items... I mean honestly, who gives out 125k items to someone they've known for 5 minutes?
I've heard of people being frozen for receiving expensive gifts, am I in any danger do you think? *Scared* This was my first account, with a lot of work put into it. If I lose it I'll be very VERY upset.... >.<

it doesn't always have to be a hacker though. Sometimes people do give out stuff just for the sake of doing so.

If that happened to me, I'd be thanking the person by filling their Neomail box with "THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!"

It happened to me last week. A person said they were a fan of my art when they saw my pet in the BC. They talked to me for awhile and then sent over a Green petpet paint brush.
Their account was only a week old, but looking at their pets, it had to be a spare account.

It's weird when people do random acts of kindness...guess some people just like to be nice, no catch involved.

thats how i met my best friend.... i posted my plans to paint all my pets on my userlookup... .and my last pet i hadnt painted was my jetsam, which i wanted purple, and somebody just sent me a purple paintbrush because they thought i was a nice person haha...

What happened to me was that I'd been wanting an Anubis for quite some time and I was really surprised to find one in my inventory...hehe...such nice people...I sent the person who sent me the anubis something back I think...they really made my day =)

I also got a purple hasee backpack out of the blue...I didn't catch the person's name though so I never got to thank them

my brother was once posting on the trading post board asking about buying a baby pb, and someone just randomly sent him one, as a random act of kindness.

I don't think I've ever had a random act of kindness before, but I don't go on Neopets alot so, oh well.
