Why is it that draws or ties in Cellblock are counted as losses?? This seems very unfair, especially since we have to pay to play the game. In real-life sports and games, we aren't penalized for draws. Is this something that happens in Britain, or is it just something evil that TNT thought would be funny? :(

It's been asked in the editorial and the answer was something along the lines of "I know! I keep losing to __ because of it!"

Very simply, you always get the first move, therefore you start each game with an advantage. Computers have feelings too, you know :P

:roflol: And, as in most games, you don't win if you tie.

But in most games, you don't lose if you tie either. If anything you go into a tie-breaker round...

In most games you don't start out with an advantage, you start out as equals.

Actually in most games, there is a turn base, so someone must always go first. Therefore, you can't start as equals.

I agree. I think ties should not count as a loss. I think they should not be counted for or against you, but instead as a "free round", a round that doesn't count.

And I always have to pay even after I've gotten my maximum NP out of it.

I didn't appreciated having to do that all the time....so I made the game for myself and mine's better 'cause it's in flash, ha! (Okay, so that was stage three of the game, I also have a java GUI, and a text based version).

Okay, so I wont get anymore trophies or the avatar, but now I don't have to "pay" ;)

Well said, Jasujo! I whole-heartedly agree that ties/draws should be treated as "free rounds" that don't count...

On another note, why am I being charged to play Cellblock once my daily limit is up? It says, "You have reached your daily limit of Neopoints for today. You may, however, play for free!" However, the darn game ends up charging me the usual amount of NPs, even though it doesn't pay anything back! :x

It did that to me yesterday. It also kept giving out np after I reached the limits today.
