* The 14th part of our Curse of Maraqua plot is now live and things are starting to look very bad for Garin and Caylis...

* We have added more shops to the Marketplace and fixed the people's shops that were appearing as ponds and trees.

* In the US, this Sunday is Mother's Day. Why not let your mum know how much you love her with one of these unique Neogreetings?

* There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was the image for the 400th Caption Contest. 493 people guessed the correct answer, earning 4,057 NP each.

ARGH! Why didn't they start the war ?!?! It'd be over the weekend, it'd work perfectly with the ending of the last plot and it'd stop people waiting twice as long as they usually do when a war comes (War starts about 8-9 in most comic plots, at this rate the war will start 20-21 (despite the editorial's claim it'll begin at 15))

I believe them when they say they'll release it at the 15th plot... although they never said when they'll release *that*. ;P

Sorry this has been a rather lengthy plot, there was so much we wanted to say about each character and character development was a major gripe about the HATIC plot (see we do read the boards). Very soon (in fact maybe before this editorial goes live) you will be able to choose sides and there will be some more explanation about how we will run the war. The actual fighting will begin with Chapter 15, so not long now

Bear in mind the war will last quite a long time, so make sure you dont wear your Neopet out early on.

Don't wear your Neopet out early on? What does that mean? Is each pet only going to be able to fight a certain amount of enemies? Gah, I certainly hope not. If so, I can see many more angry players than in previous wars. >.<

Meh, I don't care when they start the war, really. I know the plots are just a device to let people fight in the war, but I like the plots all the same. I really like the idea of Neopia being a real place with stories and events and stuff. I'm always looking at the Gallery of Villians and stuff.

Good to see kyriis getting a makeover, they have potentials to be a great pet!!I'm not so sure about the shoyrus though.... There's a big chance they're gonna mess it up and make it ultra cute with thick lines... -_-

Shoyrus are already ultra-cute... That is the point of them. I think that all they want to do with Shoyrus is just make you able to see that they have another eye.

And I'm sure the Bruce will be fine... I actually think the Bruce is one of the few pets that needs a more radical makeover (like the Koi recieved...) but I think you are safe from that considering the Bruce that is in the current plot. Also, since I don't have/don't care for Bruces, it doesn't matter to me how extreme/subtle they are madeover.

Meerca should turn out well. So should the Shoyru and Kyrii. If they make the Tuskaninny look like the ones that are on the "What is a...." page, then they will look 10000000 times better. I'm glad my Blumaroo is getting a makeover. She needs a bit more life.

*crosses fingers* Please let Kyrii be based off Grey Kyrii....please oh please let Kyrii ge tbased off Grey Kyrii.

I really want a Kyrii and if they get revamped well and have VISIBLE hind legs I'll be very happy. I really like Kyrii, but their lack of a hind leg annoyed me.

Shoyrus are good the way they are, I think. They could do with a few minor alterations, but nothing too drastic.

I really got angry when the Lupe was revamped a while ago. It was changed from a wolf to a bloody puppy.

I never liked shoyrus much anyway, so I won't mind whatever they'll be turned into

I just went to the stats page and the kougras, KOUGRAS that had always been on the 3rd place overthrew KACHEEKS!!

I always wondered why kacheeks are the second most popular pet and now they aren't

So let's hope TNT's revamp on the shoyru will drop them from being the most popular pet XD

Oh wow. That's a little surprising, considering all the negative feedback the revamped Kougra got. Guess that revamp was considered better than the Kacheek one. O_o
