When Did This Happen?

I was using the Shop Wizard, and when I clicked on a shop I got this page:

I understand the reasoning behind this(trying to keep people from accidentally buying stuff at absurdly high prices), but I was wondering how long this has been in place?

Over a year, I think. I can't remember the reason (probably war), but I remember buying codestones at a furious pace ages ago and I was not the only one complaining of people changing their prices so fast that you accidentally spend 40k instead of 4k. Mind you, I'm talking about speed buying when you're trying to nab stuff fast on the wiz as prices are flying up, so you don't have even a split second to check the price if you don't want to lose out. Thank goodness they put that little stopper in, but I do remember they made no announcement and it freaked me out the first time I saw it, heh.

I remember...it was well over a year ago, during advent.

People were getting very burned on price changers when snow petpet paint brush were given out, they had the system up and running by the time white ona was released.

Yep, it started out during the advent the year before last. There were tons of prices changers for the White Onas and such. You could seriously sit in a shop, refresh, and just watch the price change. If you were lucky, you could grab some cheap ones before they switched back up, but if you came back later, they were likely frozen.

That's such a great feature, I'm glad TNT added it. It's never happened to me, but I'd sure be upset if someone changed some Tombola junk to 8,000NP while I was buying it. (Why I would be buying Tombola junk...I'm not sure, but you get my drift.)
