My friend got a neomail from someone asking if they wanted their account.
My friend didn't reply.
Then the same person neomails asking if they can have their userlookup code.
My friend says "Only my neofriends can have it"
Now someone is guessing my friends password so many times that he can't sign on for an hour.
How can he stop the person from guessing his password?

I don't know about stopping them from guessing the password, but I would suggest that your friend rotate their password every day or so just in case the person guesses correctly.

thats what i first thought, but how are TNT going to know if its him or his friend trying to log in... its worth emaileing them tho, because then if something does happen they will have emailed TNT before the event.

why is this person trying to log into thier account for the code? if they really want it cant they just view the source of the lookup?!? o_O

Oh I didn't think of that, that is a good point. But yeah, I agree with Rachel, your friend should still contact TNT somehow if possible. :)

TNT might be able to block that persons IP from trying ti log into that account... i dont know, but its deff worth emailing them.

Make sure your friend has a password that is really difficult to guess too

They're not guessing her password to get it. They're guessing it to lock her out of her account.

Every Computer has a different IP address if one IP address goes into a bunch of accounts all the accounts the IP has reacently entered in will be frozen

so there's nothing TNT can do about it?

Is there someplace your friend can sign in at that is private and not accessible to other Neo players--like a computer at her house?

If so, I suggest that she attempt to sign in at a really strange hour of the day--like 4 am--and then once online, don't log off. After all, the people doing this to her can't possible be awake 24 hours a day. And, I believe that once you are online, you can't get logged off if a person attempts to guess your password.

myea i suppose that's the only and therefore best solution...

people who'd do that are just having too much time
