Although I understand that you are only trying be helpful in giving everyone a beforehand warning I have found that a 12 hour warning does indeed make things a little confusing as arogance1 already said. Nonetheless, I suppose its entirely up to you :)

Actually, there is a logic to it. One of the Neopians managed to work it out and now keeps a pet page with the idea behind the logic and the expected times. Its usually pretty accurate (not guaranteed though, I've seen it wrong a couple of times).
