Ok ive got a space just waiting for me to sign up. I think that i will only use it for the 15 day trial period so i have some questions.

(1) when do they 1st charge your credict card.
(2) how do u quit after 15 days?

My parents are cautious about giving away credict card details and they say if they r not going to charge y do they need there credict card number

1) After the 15-day trial is over, they automatically charge you.

2) If you're in the US, call tech support at 1-877-NEOPIAN to cancel. Outside the US, email them at mailto:techsupport@neomail.com

At the bottom (I think) of the portal, or maybe it's the webmail, there should be something to click that will take you to an email addy to discontinue the premium.

If you've passed your 15 day trial, you will be charged (and get to keep premium) for the month you've been charged for. There are, to my knowledge, no refunds.

The reasoning for having a credit card or other payment method (like paypal) is if you do decided to keep it, you will just start getting charged and wouldn't have to go through the whole getting in and signing up again. Most places that have trial periods do this.

$7.99 a month..Thats U.S dollars. I got lucky throught the Plushie Tycoon programer posting on the PT board that spaces were open. Ive emailed tech support with some questons about quiting and stuff but i doubt they will reply

This is the reply i got back from tech support.

Hi,
If you sign up and then wish to cancel, you must cancel before the 15 day trial or you would be charge for the month. To cancel the service simply go to http://premium.neopets.com/user/admin/l ... fault.aspx where it says ISP CANCELLATION. You must enter the biling payment asked on the sign up process.

Thank You,
Modesto

So you could pay for a month, get the neoboards avatar, and cancel it? Will they charge you anything to cancel?

Kostya, you can cancel it anytime. If you were to cancel, say, mid-month, you'd still be charged for the whole month and your premium would end at the end of that month.

The avatar? It's the I love neomail one that alot of people got way before it was a "premium' av, so that's nothing special.

No, say you cancel during the 15 free-day thing.

Yes, that avatar, I missed it. And I need it seeing as how I have more then 140 avs.

Image Is it this avatar? If it is, I'm sure I got that a long time after people could sign up for premium - isn't it just a random event when using neomail (as well as getting it with premium I mean)?

If that's not the avvie, then just ignore, hee

Yes, that's the avatar, and I hear that the only way you can get it now is by signing up for Premium. When it first came out, everyone got it by neomailing each other.

Hmm, I got it just after the baby buzz avatar - so that would be sometime after buzz day in January. I'm pretty sure premium was around before that? Maybe not though...I don't remember, heh.

Lots of other people have confirmed that it's just completely random when sending or reading Neomail. It's not even premium only. *shrugs*

But they should make a premium only avatar. $7.99 a month and not even an exclusive avatar...

I know, that makes me angry. Especially when they include it as one of their selling points for Premium.

Buuut... that would make a lot of people angry, so I guess I see why they haven't done it. Remember the uproar over th Coco Roller av? *sigh*
