Random contest help

I can't get my image to submit. It always comes up with an error.

ERROR : File must be a JPG or GIF type image. (ie. have the '.jpg' or '.gif' extension at the end of the file name in LOWERCASE letters). You submitted filetype: image/pjpeg.

It's lowercase and .jpg

Is the filesize too big? (Dunno what the RC is, but Neopets probably has a limit on it.)

There is no limit on the size of the files that i know of for this contest but it can be no larger than 400X400 pixels.

try resaving it under a different name. I had that problem when my usual program saved it GIF instead of gif as well

I tried all those things you suggested, but it still doesn't work. I'd like to submit it, since I spent alot of time on it.

Did you save as .gif or .jpg from the dropdown list or simply change the .bmp to .jpg in the text box ?

First I saved it using the dropdown menu, but it saved as a .JPG file, so I deleted it and resaved it as a .jpg file. It still doesn't work either way. I have to leave in a few minutes for school.....

edit: I'll make it into an avatar. It would probaly win if I did submit it.
