Do you have to wait till the end of the day to get a trophy or do you get it as soon as you hit one of the 17 slots.

You don't get it right away. I think it is updated at the end of the day, but one time I got a high score, (not one good enough to get a trophy,) and it showed up right away... o_O

Yep -- I can confirm it's 4:45am. I got my Gold trophy then last night.
