Once again, the hint towards an unreleased avatar takes it's toll on the Neopian economy.

Achyfi prices are insane right now.

This could be another case like the alleged sleeping harris, walking carpet, rock and others I can't even think of right now rumors and speculation.

Possibly. You never know, TNT has a wicked sense of humor and love payback. I personally do think it'll be about feeding a can of achyfi to a pet...the reason being "Achyfi" is probably on the the only words that nobody will be able to cheat and find another language with a food item containing it like they did with the garlic/leek/funnydew melon thing. *lol*

But you never know....TNT just might make it "type achyfi in the sidebar" or something more typical (and annoying) like "look up raspberry achyfi and refresh at the search results page 5 billion times and if you are extremely lucky you might get the avatar as a random event sometime this year."

You know what's happening? TNT release mounds of new items. A fair amount of good ones too. And they retire old items. Then, the new items lower in price because of availablity, and become favourate items to many people. Then, when they've reached such commoness (is that a word) that they're not worth looking at twice, TNT retire the item, and cause a massive uproar.

Repeat above process as many times as needed, add PPT and stir vigourously.

The only advantage I see with this major inflation is if you're one of the lucky people online and watching the Boards when the rumours start you can buy up and make a profit. Hey, its not fair but if you don't do it someone else will, right?

"Achyfi" means something along the lines of "yuck" or "yucky" (geez, that might be why its written on the avatar), I just hate how all this speculation increases the prices without someone knowing that its even going to work. I mean, for all we know the avatar could be gained by feeding your pet a gross food.

There are three factors which keep Neopians here, and give them a reason to earn NP. Avatars, the Battledome, and random Galleries. Sometimes a combo of the three. Oh, and a desire to prove yourself in front of others, make others feel jealous of your achievements and look up at you as a role model. They also keep the economy going.

Take one away, and the economy (and player interest) crumbles. I guess people use avatars to show off. I knew that if I had that Super Attack Pea avatar, I'd be using it

Super attack pea is retired and worth A LOT well it was worth a lot when it wasnt too and achfyi is a drink i believe you can get a rasperry one i think

Seasonal Attack Pea avatar is retired (the one you got from the Advent Calendar) but I don't know if the Super attack Pea one is (where you have to equip a Super Attack Pea to a Pea Chia).

The "achyfi" is a range of items, there are a few drinks like Elderberry Achyfi, Strawberry Achyfi, etc.

SAP avatar is retired, SuAP avatar isn't, but still managing to have an elusive uber-SuAP along with a pea chia to equip it to make it tough to come by.

I think what they were saying above was is the SuAP (item wise) retired. Which, being a cove item, it's...erm...sorta retired. All of them have stocked I'm sure, but every once in a while (I guess if someone with one gets iced or something) a cove item that's long been gone will have one show up. Saw a battle plunger in there myself recently, which I know *that* supply had to be gone for a while.

yeah, I meant the Super Attack Pea avatar, not the Seasonal Attack pea Avatar Just to fix up any confusion.

And back on topic, I reckon that TNT might make some ridiculously easy way to get that avatar, just to annoy all the people who are hoading them up to make a crazy profit off But who knows? They might throw another 'Bag of Peanuts' trick on us, and make the av only available if you feed your pet an Achyfi (almost spelled it Aichifi ). The price will probably zoom for a few weeks, then slowly drop to a nice and comfortable level around the price range of say... 10k?
