Another Cellblock Question

Wed Jan 12, 2005 8:52 pm

I just defeated Master Vex and only got a third place trophy and am now back to the beginning with Clop.

What does this mean? Do I have to go all the way again to get silver and then again to get gold?

This is natural. Master Vex is the highest you can go on opponents - not skill levels (Levels? Meh.) Everytime you defeat Master Vex, you will go back to Clop and so on so forth. :)

so do I go up a trophy if I defeat Master vex again?

No, you have to beat him quite a few times before you get another trophy.

Wed Jan 12, 2005 11:05 pm

really? That seems like an awful lot of time and work!

Yep, it is, but by the time you get the gold trophy, you have earned quite a lot of neopoints ;)

Beat all 8 players through to advance to the next Tournament.

At Tournament level 11, there are NO markers already on the board, but there are ROCKS! It's much harder, and the rocks are random. Beat Vex in that Tournament (after beating him ten times before) to get the gold trophy.

Silver is Tournament 11 match 5, the Yellow Knight. Want to read my article in the Neopian Times?

To get to the upper Tournament levels without wasting NP by going over the 5000 a day limit, I usually play:

Vex 3000
Clop 200
Barallus 300
Meekel 400
Yellow Knight 600

for a total of 4500 on day A and

Number Five 1000
Galgarrath 1500
Haskol 2000

for a total of 4500 on day B
