Question about Boochi

Tue Jan 25, 2005 2:38 am

On the extreme off-chance that I run into Boochi, does he change my active Neopet into baby, or is it random which one he chooses?

Active pet. Currently there are no random events that affect non-active pets only (Not counting the "You're the best owner" type ones)

Thanks. It's funny, I just went to make my Buzz my active pet then, and my Bori said 'You're the best owner'.

(first Random Event in ages, and it's useless -_-)

Beg to differ. Just today I had a non-active pet (and no other pet, active or non-active) get the Flaky Shakies or whatever it's called.

But yes, the big nasties like invisibility, Boochi, and seeing red/feeling blue, are (so far as anyone knows) active-pet only. (Unless Goldennegg's disease was an early symptom of a change of RE policy.)

At least mood is something we can have an influence on, so the red/blue REs aren't nearly as bad. But I still think turning a (perhaps expensively painted, & even if not, likely the look the owner wants) pet Baby or Invisible at random is truly foul. I'd strongly consider quitting if it happened to me.

The one time I got Boochi, it was on my active pet.

Same here. I also didn't even get the RE, my pet was just randomly a baby and I assumed it must have been Boochi. :P

Well, he might "miss" and your active pet won't turn into a baby...there's always that chance
