Hi

My account (rahidz2003) got frozen for multiple accounts, at a time when my sister (runa_z) was playing. Both of her accounts (main & cake gallery) were also iced for the same reason.

I filled out the 'frozen form', and I was wondering what other action(s) I should take at the moment.

Not to complain , but I lost over 5 million pure, and much more in items.

Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that. Morningstar will be a great help here because her family all play on the same computer.

Basically, if you've not had a response within a week, mail again. Another week, start collecting staff email addresses (we'll help you) and mail them personally. Failing that, there's snail mail, and emailing every day til you get a response (I did - it took 2 months but I got there in the end!).

So don't worry!! You're one of the few genuinely innocent freezees, and we'll help you all the way to get your account back.

Well, I'm going to send it back to you...you can give it to your sister if she needs it. She'll be needing it now more than I will.

On-Topic: How many accounts did YOU have? It would seem like a total of four if your sibling was included, and without that it's different altogether. From what I gather, there's zero justification for you getting iced.

You seem awfully patient with this, perhaps owed to the fact that you are absolutely certain you did nothing wrong. I envy you.

Yeah, rahidz2003 was my only account.

My sister had three (I think)

runa_z (iced) : Main account
? (iced) (dunno the account name) : Cake gallery account
runaz (iced as well) : Guild account

And that adds to four, which is the max supposed to be possible for ONE PERSON. And, she was making NP independently on each account with no transfer save for the cake gallery (right?), so there should be no problem. Mail them at least once every two weeks. If nothing happens, get the support staff.

Correct for the most part, although I did give her a Kreludan Lava Cake about a week ago, which she put into her gallery today. We occasionally (about once a month or so) gave gifts to each other, and runa_z was on my NeoFriend list.

rahidz, I am so sorry for you and your sister. I hate this, I really do! It's so unfair that those of us who share a computer have to worry that we're going to be frozen as "cheating" or "multi" just because we do share a computer and heaven forbid, both do dailies, play games, restock or even just try to be nice and send something from our main account to the other person using the same computer.

The main things I have seen people sharing a computer being frozen for are: same email; dailies; bidding on an auction; or sending each other things to main accounts.

When you sent your sister the cake, did you use the tp or did you use the send to neofriend? If you used the send to neofriend, that could be the answer. I've seen a few people frozen for that. I believe the tp is somewhat safer for things like that.

Both you and your sister will obviously have to send in the form. Give as much information as you can proviing that your account is yours - your pets, bank type, any weapons equipped, trades, neofriends (your sis being a neofriend should not have been a problem), if you were in a guild, etc. Then when talking about the reason you were frozen, explain that you and your sister do both play, give her account names, and even tell them you sent that cake to her main account for her to put in her gallery. Tell them that you're sorry if you did something wrong by sending an item to her, that you were not trying to break any rules and certainly would never cheat. You were trying to be nice and wanted to surprise her with something for her gallery and couldn't remember her gallery account name. Asking her might have ruined the surprise of the gallery item.

Something like that? I'm trying to think, right now I'm kind of seeing red about this.

I have a roommate who is a much more casual player on Neo than I am - she only has one account, I have 3. I told her a few months ago that she was not to send me anything ever and I would not be sending her anything because of this very issue. I did write to support and informed them of our usernames, email addresses and other pertinent information and that we shared a computer. We are both very careful to log out completely and it's a practice on this computer to clear cookies and temporary internet after any site is visited. We also don't log in one after the other. That I've seen people having a problem with too.

When I read your topic I called for her to come and read it so she would see that I'm not trying to be mean or I'm completely paranoid (which I am, I know) with the no presents thing. She was determined to buy and send me a weapon as I'm a newer battler and we almost had an argument over it. I'm now glad I stood firm.

TNT has to re-evaluate their policies on matters like this. They need to be more flexible and give us all the benefit of the doubt, especially with so many people being on high speed internet and having the same IP and with so many people sharing a computer either at home or using a library or school computer. The assumption that you must be trying to pull a fast one is just unacceptable.

I know how you mean. At my home(s) and in the office/studio I know there is me plus more people who play neopets (Yeah we're all kids ).
So it is a bit annoying that we have this scary prospect of being frozen just because a colegue or family member went on our computer or even just on the network with same ip address... Also what if they cheated? o__O

Awww, that sucks. Stupid of neopets to do that to you, and others in the same situation.
