Slow loading from pages ...

I'm seeing the worst loading speeds are from pages with the advertisment from a.tribalfusion.com... I'm trying to *LOSE* at bilge dice (or at least get my 20k back) and i can't because these stupid ads keep slowing down the load time so i refresh and my game gets cancelled

And a little bit of research sheds a whole new light on my post ...

I googled tribalfusion and sure enough, Top 10 SPYWARE lists show up ... Too bad Neopets is Spyware free though, right?

What browser are you using? There have been scripts posted somewhere around here for IE and Firefox that block the top banner ads.

I know the feeling quite well thought it might have just been me happens in restock and i want to throw the computer out the window lol solitaire too sometimes takes ages for the cards to load oh well just one of those little things we have to put up with for wonderful neopets

Well, it's really slow for me too and I block them. And it's not just my computer because other websites are fast.

Well, I don't know if it's the same for everyone, but after I switched from IE to Firefox, Neopets went 4 to 5 times faster. I can actually restock decently now.

Firefox helped a bit still about 3 seconds loading time ... IE was about 7 seconds

EDIT : I can't open any official sites from Tribalfusion for some reason not even to read the privacy statement... from what I hear though its an advertising company that throws popups around ... not good... Not unless they have some sort of software Neopets is using for their OWN banners at the top ... Still it lags whenever I get to a site that has to load tribalfusion

Well seems to be loading pretty fast for me ill have to test it out on a few restocks tomorrow when its really busy i know i can be waiting for hours for ie to load and by the time its loaded the item is already gone! i had a look at download.com there were only 5 bad reviews must be great Thanks for putting me onto this browser guys

I'm using MSN explorer and it's going fast for me no matter what ad is at the top of the page.
