28th December

This week is particularly short with the new year coming up, so some of the regular features may be juggled around a little bit. As a reminder Aisha Day is fast approaching, so make sure you send in all your Aisha themed pictures, poems, spotlights etc as soon as you can.

If you live in Singapore there is still time for you to get your hands on one of these Neopets plushies from McDonalds. The offer ends on the 19th January, click here for more details.

Some Neopets may have overindulged in all the yummy treats that are around at this time of the year in today's Caption Contest. (This contest will run all week so you have a little longer to think of something witty).

This week's Faerie Caves Spotlight award has been given to Giggles_paw with their level - Tornado Trap.

For a limited time we have bought back an old favourite for you to play - Toontown - Are You Game Enough?

There are some new Poems for you to look at.

If you are stuck for ideas of things to make with all your leftovers, the Food Shop may give you some inspiration. They have Turkey Casserole, Turkey Curry, Turkey Salad and Turkey Pie for you to enjoy.

Well done Gina2B and Gina4s, you are now the proud owners of a shiny Site Spotlight trophy.

Yurbles can now be given a tiki touch with the aid of an Island Paint Brush.

This week's Minigolf Spotlight award has been given to partygirl2573 for their course - CubeWorld.

There is a new game based on the film Racing Stripes for you to play. Click here to give it a go.

The Bakery has four delicious new flavours of Swiss Roll for you to enjoy.

The first Pet Spotlight of the week has been awarded to a Wocky called Hippbee.

Who wouldn't want to own this cute little Pirate Petpet? Not only do Swabbies look adorable, but they do a great job of keeping your place neat and tidy.

If you like orange, you will love this rather brightly coloured coral collection from the Kiko Lake Carpenters.

I just played that "Racing Stripes" game they mentioned in the news...

I gotta say...I hope that sponsor isn't paying them much, because that has to be the most laughable payout on a sponsor game I've ever seen. I nailed it as soon as the answer came up (nearly flawless) and was paid a whopping 88 np for the effort. :P

The racing stripes payout was SO not worth it. I agree!

*Gets really really really really excited* :D!!!!!! *Has an unhealthy obsession with the cute little kitties* I was kinda hoping for a revamp (just a bit of reshaping, nothing big), but since they haven't started on the Quiggles yet I guess it's not going to happen this time around :(

no ... touching ... the ... aishas ... ever! After what they did to kougras and lupes, no aisha revamp, or jetsam IMHO. The kacheek redraw was good, I must say - very subtle, like just a touch-up. If they just did something like that I'd be ok with it, but please not a total redraw.

Aishas are my fav pet! I have 2 on my main account, both painted to suit their personality. I have all but the interactive and the newer Limited TOO disco aisha plushies (RL) - no walmart, target or ltd 2 anywhere around here ... But I do have all the other rl plushies, including all the McDonald's ones.

Thanks for posting the news! I couldn't get to the news page when I logged in a little while ago. Actually I couldn't get anywhere, so logged out.

I could have SWORN they were announced in the news before :o

I'm almost certain they appeared right after i started a new account. I thought to myself "If I got one of those now it would be quite elgible for PPL. But nahhh... surely they'll be completely bought out of the shops and blah blah blah"....

:o

Edit: Bingo - According to Neoitems,

Date: Thu Dec 16, 2004
Keywords: PiratePetpet r101
Description: You will never have messy floors with a Swabby around!
