Well, this Christmas I asked my parents for only one thing, a year of Neopets Premium. (I live in Sweden but I'm American, and my folks still live in Texas and have a credit card handy, so I figured it would be easier for them to get me premium for a year instead of mailing me something overseas). Dad said no problem at all.

I gave him the webpage, my info (username and email used for Neopets) and gave him the phone number listed on the page.

Dad called several times. Nobody will sign me up. Everyone he talked to said "It's only Beta Testing right now and we're full, and aren't taking new members".

So, here it is Christmas, and I have no present.

Anyone know WHO I have to talk to get this straightened out? How is everyone signing up?? I find it strange that a company is offering something, yet we can't seem to get anyone to take $69.95 off of us. That's crazy!

Help greatly appreciated.

And the top-bar sais that Beta testing is full, so i guess, until the alpha version is released, you pretty much have no choice but to wait. Sorry about the circumstances this comes under though. *hug* have a merry christmas anyways.

Well, I guess I find this awfully confusing. It just seems like bad business, doesn't it? They tell us to get rid of ads, we need premium. Want the neomail avatar? Get premium. Wanna play our newest game before everyone else? Better get premium. Want to chat in a forum for just premium members? Well, you'll need to pay for premium. They try to sell it to us by offering so many perks....this is the largest, hottest "item" they are selling to us at the moment.

However, it isn't available to be bought on or before the biggest gift-giving holiday of the year??

That's bad business, plain and simple. They seem to be out to make money, but without being prepared, they've probably lost tons of profit they could have made cashing in on the holidays. Someone needs to take a crash course in econimics I'd say-

Any clue on when they're going to finally want to take our money and make this thing "public"? I heard a date in a prior thread of December 20th, but I assume it's safe to say that's not the case.

Neopets is currently redesigning the Premium services, and once completed, it will be available to everyone.

Err, doesn't alpha come before beta, as in the greek alphabet? I also could have sworn that it came out in Alpha, but I guess it's in beta now.

Sign up for the 15 day trial and then say you love it and want to continue it?
