How often should I send in a bug report about my shop? It still hasn't been fixed and I really want to add a few things to it. Sometimes I wonder if I should just take everything out and see if that fixes it.

It was supposed to be a gallery/shop. But I tried to put an item in one day and it said it was full. I looked and everything in my shop was doubled! I have two of everything, even my shop can't hold that much. I already sent a bug report in, and hoping I don't get frozen, but nothing has happened so far. And I want to put stuff in it.

When did you send this report?

I had to wait a few weeks for the okay to do what I wanted with my duplicated Noil from the rollback.

Hopefully everything is resolved quickly! Just do not do anything with the items!

I haven't. But my SDB is getting full. I hope there isn't a limit on it... I just wish TNT would take care of things a little faster. I know they try, and that they are VERY busy, but I can still wish.

The rollback happened the day after Neo's birthday in mid-November. All SDB's were rolled back at least two-three days, if not more. Meaning that any items put in the SDB during that time period diappeared and any items taken out of the SDB during that time period reappeared in the SDB. So, many people have duplicates of items because of it--while others lost a lot.

Perhaps you should write again and ask what you should do with the extra items. My guess is that they will tell you to keep them--that's what they told many people who got extra items because of the rollback.

If you are really nervous, you could always discard the duplicates.

I thought about donating the extra items to the tree. And this wasn't from a rollback. It happened just last week. Before that, I hadn't been on Neo since January. But which form should I submit? A bug form or another form?

Ellusenia, this still hasn't been resolved? Yikes! I'd be very nervous about doing anything myself. But I'm sure it's very frustrating for you.

I'm going to guess write to Support. Normally with Bug Reports you don't get an answer back. That's the main reason I suggest Support. I don't know the category ... I guess Other?

That SDB rollback. :P 3 full sets of codestones, my first battle set and after looking through it, a christmas pb I'd gotten cheap off the wiz. Didn't get them back, never filled out a bug or any other form, because of their normal policy of not returning things. I figured it wasn't worth writing in and I didn't want to bother them, I'm sure they were overwhelmed with reports. And I sure don't want them thinking I'm trying to "get over" on them after I learned they did replace some peoples' things.

Stuff does happen, and I give Neopets alot of credit for getting the site back up and running after that bad day. Can't imagine what they all must have gone through. So my loss may not be little to me, but in the overall scheme of things? It's nothing.

But your case, Ellusenia, is definitely different! I think someone else posted that the same thing happened in their shop. Just don't remember the member name. Maybe if you look for your first Topic on this you'll find it and can PM them to see if their shop got straightened out or if they got an answer from Support.

EC, I write every time it happens--just to remind them that their system isn't working properly and that it could work better if they implemented new software, etc. I am sure they think I am a pain in the patoot. But, hey, my philosophy is that if you don't let them know that something isn't working, then they may never know that a problem exists.

However, I do think that there is a change in the air. Several times today I got the red pteri page and page cannot be displayed after doing quick stocks--and was sure that I had lost the items being transferred--and I didn't--not once. So, maybe they have changed the way they capture data.

When I lost my items in the SDB glitch, I wrote a bug report as soon as it happened. It took a few days for me, but I did get an email back about it--as did others who reported losses.

Morningstar, the main reason I didn't write in, aside from the obvious nothing is ever returned, is once I did find out that people were being "reimbursed" it was what, a week or so later? IMO too late to be sending in a report. That's what I meant when I wrote I didn't want them to think I was trying to 'get over' on them. I just ate the loss. Been playing ALOT! of extra games lately to make it up.

Pteri I got alot last night. Also pages don't want to load - there's an AOL call waiting ad that just stops the page dead from loading for almost a minute.

The TP search is still not working right - I did send a bug report on that one. And there's Ellusenia's problem, which someone else is having. So yeah, there's stuff that needs fixing. And I do hope those issues are addressed and fixed soon. But I still do give TNT full credit for returning items to people who wrote in after the SDB glitch. It was the first time, to my knowledge other than the big security glitch (that some people did and some didn't) that anything was returned. And it sounds like from what happened to you today with the Pteri and refresh pages and NOT losing things that maybe something is being implemented. At least it's being tried? Bravo!

Your SDB does not ahve any limits, as far as I can see! You can have over 1000 different items, at least (that is how many you need in your SDB to get a the Pack Rat Avatar) and can have as many as you want of each item.

Feel free to put all duplicates in your SDB and continue on with the originals ... and use your shop normally.
