....for the first time in over four years. Wow. I'm actually surprised. I was here waaay before the whole if-your-neopet-is-depressed-it-turns-blue thing. And even after that was installed, my pet has remained delighted.

Until now.

It has hoochie coochies. I had no idea that being sick would make your pets unhappy (although it makes sense). I mean, my pet hads been dying except when I want to fight in BD, I never play with it, but when it gets sick, it's unhappy.

And this is bad for me because my acara is fire, and I don't want it to turn blue. And hoochie coochie tablets cost about 30k. I remember way back when when hoochie coochie tablets were a few hundred NP. Lol.

Anyway, yeah, just to share my Neo-day with you guys.

Sounds like you've been fighting wave one in the war. ;)

If you need a quick cure, I can help you if you want to spend 1k on some flat-u-less tables with a quick BD darting...I have sticky hand and will travel. ;) Hoochie Coochie tablets cost too much...and the water faerie sometimes isn't kind quick enough for my tastes.

But yes, now when they get sick, their mood hits ROCK BOTTOM with just a few refreshes. Scary really.

I have to agree with you about the oddness of the unhappyness thing... I certainly leave my pets dying most of the time too (though with Anarcheck, he gets fed 7 times a day sometimes [bbq porkwiches ;) ])

I personally wouldn't worry too much about the blue event because
A. It's really quite rare
B. There have been almost no random events recently, everyone is saying it!...

Yeah, neo made it so if your pet is sick, it will become unhappy. Here is what you do if you don't want the blue random event appearing. First, play with your pet until you think its delighted. Then just go to healing springs every 30 minutes and hope for a full heal. Do not go to the pet stat page, every time you visit that page, your pet mood drops when its sick.

Good advice. Play with the pet over and over and over (F5 key) until you can get its happiness level up--I have never gotten it up past extremely happy. And remember to do that every few hours because it can lose its happiness state pretty quickly if you are roaming around the site.

According to my guild mates, you have to take it out of the battle before taking it to the healing springs--which you do by going to the status page. Then do the healing springs, the WOE, and the WOK as often as you can. All three can heal your pet.

Best of luck!

EDIT: Lord Nword, it appears from other threads that the random events just started appearing again--in a flurry! I think I would cry--for real--if my plushie elephante ever got the blues!

My fighting pet is a LUPE! Give it a toy and RIP! No multiple happies for him. Can you say "Broken Yellow Chia Plushie"?

Oh, I have had that same problem. You just have to give him a non-chia toy--the bouncy spiky ball always seemed to work for my lupe.

I'm pretty sure the blue random event only happens to your active pet. But it's not that hard to buy a cheap toy, play with it once and instead of pressing the "close and refresh" button, just hit F5 on your keyboard.

With the broken toys, take it to Donnie and it'll get fixed.
