Went with the stocks boon

Day 1: POWR @ 10, Also just sold DROO at 48 (bought at 10), and KBAT at 39 (bought at 11)
Day 2: SKEI @ 10
Day 3: MYNC @ 10
Day 4: MPC @ 10. Four of my stocks plummeted to 6 this morning
Day 5: ACFI @ 11... No stocks at 10 this morning
Day 6: BB @ 11... No stocks at 10 this morning, either
Day 7: POWR @ 10

I went with Book Smarts. I am painstakingly going through all of the non-special books in my SDB and trying to read them to any/all of my pets. Eeeesh, this is a mess. Remind me from now on, read a book before it goes in the SDB so I don't have to do this again, ever!

ETA: barring books that pets found boring, intelligence changes:
Pet 1: up 152
Pet 2: up 140
Pet 3: up 148
Pet 4: up 14 (this pet has already read a lot of books)
Pet 5: up 167ish
Pet 6: up 138


Maaaaybe if I feel up to it later in the week, I'll try to add some more unread books to my main pet. We'll see. It's a painstaking process to buy/read tons at a time, for sure.

ETA: So, I got bored being sick and stuck mostly to the couch, and since my brain had trouble focusing much, I went ahead and bought/read books to my main pet off an on all week.

Y'all. I bought 925 books for her over the course of the week. Nine-hundred-twenty-five.

I love JN's wishlist function (and their book-list functions, and the ability to remove books that are boring from your list), and the ability to sort by price low-to-high, but my pet is now in the 5.1k+-a-book range. And I copy/pasted 925 book titles, searched them, bought them, and then ruddy read them to her (and sometimes my other pets if I got lucky and the book didn't poof).

...never. again.

(I don't think I could do another 925 in a week anyways, as the prices of the books start going up drastically.)

...On the plus side, my pet has read over 2,000 books (between regular and booktastic), and her intelligence is well over 4500 now.

Got my battles in this afternoon. Almost forgot about it. So exhausted today. Not quite over the cold and spent too much time cleaning/being productive yesterday.

ETA: We won. I took Black Market Goods. Not sure how much I'll use it, but I took it anyway.

ETA2: Eeesh, you get shop banned FAST nowadays. 6 refreshes and I'm banned for who knows how long. How long has restocking been this much of a pain? Ugh.

Apparently, I've been out of restocking for so long that I was not aware that apparently the shops now "clear" spontaneously. I feel like I'm having to completely relearn how things work.

Yesterday, the boon paid off bigtime. I snagged a Dazzling Blue Mussel Shell. People are asking for 3 mil for it on the TP, but JN says 2.5 mil. Since I ended up selling a chunk of stock at 82 this morning (instead of 60!), I accepted an offer of an 800k coin (that I didn't have, went straight into my album) and 1.4 mil nps (2.2 mil total). Technically, I didn't get as much as I could've out of it, but <shrugs>...I was feeling nice.
(I did see one other boon item, but I hadn't gotten enough NPs out so missed it.)
