I think it makes sense for the locket to be sophies because the townspeople went back after the family. They were so mad that they probably tore the house apart looking for them (explains why it's the only one like that, too).

Also, they weren't around for the summoning. Reginald took his parents to the mansion, and Bruno was chased out of town. So, whatever happened to the rest of the town may not have happened to them. Most likely we have to help Sophie find them, and then they help us lift the curse on the rest of the town. With Sophie's magick and Reginald's mutant brain, it's quite possible.

What does the usul have to do with the plot? And what if Ilere gave Sophie powers, and transformed her into a witch?! o_O

As the plot is only new, no-one really knows how it is going to work.

As Neovia is still a "dead" town, maybe Gilly (usul) will help the town come alive.

Sophie is a witch (we already know this). But how she becomes a witch will be shown in the comic, but I don't think she will be transformed into a witch but study with Ilere and learn magic.

Well, maybe there's a 'puzzle prelude' before the war.

Or it's gonna be a puzzle/war combo! Which would be most excellent, IMO.

For anyone that might not be able to get her to say the extra line, I was having that problem too. Then I figured it was because I pressed "Back" when I saw Sydney (since his page doesn't have a "Return to Fairgrounds" link). BUT, after a couple of tries, I pressed the "get lost" button or whatever in his text instead of pressing back, and that made it work for me. *shrug* Some insight, I suppose.

Is TNT trying to release ANOTHER world? Yeeesh if we have to restore Neovia, then that's another town, great, but that might be overdoing it a little, TNT. I think the recently-restored towns should get more attention first, then introduce new ones. You know, how many people have forgotten about Qasala? I know I have. And we have Altador and Shenkuu to blame for that, mirite?

::shakes head:: I was clicking the "get lost" link or whatever it was. What I had to do was clear my cache twice, log out, log back in and do go through the order twice. -.- Drove me insane it did.

I agree. I haven't been playing for an extremely long time (in fact, I played a long time ago, and was shocked when I came back and saw Qasala and Geraptiku), and then suddenly there's Altador and Shenkuu. It seems like we're uncovering the entire map of Neopia all at once, which seems a bit self-destructive. o.O

Hmm, that may be true. But it's high time that the Haunted Woods got a little bit of spiffification itself. I mean, look at it...it's looked pretty much the same for what, 3 years now? More?

Hrm...well...oh well. I guess if you have to clear your cache, then go ahead and do it. =P I didn't touch my cache at all. All I did was play a game of Coconut Shy for the dialogue starting and clicked the "get lost" link to get the extra message. *Shrug*
