A sleuth is a detective, so a master sleuth would be a great detective, like Sherlock Holmes, I guess. And a gumshoe is also a slang word for a detective. Kind of silly if you ask me...

I disagree about Linae telling the whole truth. Anshu said he finished fixing the leak before returning to the deck and didn't mention fixing a second leak. So he and Linae's stories definitely conflicted. You couldn't assume anything was true if only one person said it; they all could have been lying at certain parts (or misremembering). It was a traumatic experience, and time and sequence of events could have been misremembered. I laid out a pretty good indictment of Linae in a previous thread; it fit the story just as well as Bonju doing it. I'd link, but I'm tired...

I wish I got all 5 right, my first intuition was that since Hoban must be alive at the end of the plot, he would be drifting on cargo crates (as I could even envision from that last blurry view of the ship, seemingly from Hoban's vision but in Kentari's story), but then got confused by the limited but also detailed ship part answers.

Logic detective work set in, but that is not always the best thing.

Oooohhh... should I try to sell the map book or hold onto it? The TP is flooded with them right now, people asking anywhere from 200-500K

I'm thinking the price will probably plummet and then nobody will be able to get rid of them. Then it won't ever be worth much again, right?

In cases like this I just hold on to things, unless I really need quick NP.

The price will go UP then down, while people who can afford and are willing to buy up sooner might pay a little more, while others wait to haggle lower than asking price.

In a few weeks I bet the price stabilizes to about the asking price now.

It just depends if you want to be "in the market" / the TP dealing with that.

EDIT: Thinking out loud too, but also thinking a flooded market is rarely the best time to sell? If you *can* wait then wait until there are not so many perhaps? Then you at least won't have to reject 20 NP + a Breadfish offer too many times a day?

Did everyone get their prizes in a random event? because neither my sister or I have gotten them yet, and we both got at least two right...

Good point. A flooded market is probably the worst time to try to sell something. I was just thinking it would be better to at least try for a quick 200K now than wait if it dropped down to 50K or something and never went back up again. But if it might go back up again I can defiantly wait.

Even if the worst happens and I hold onto it and it becomes worthless, I didn't lose any money because I got it for free. And even if it becomes not even worth selling, I've still got a mostly worthless but interesting item for my gallery, haha.

Meer, yes I was almost about to add that it just depends on what you value. Could be a rare item from a plot, from all your efforts, could be NP to buy a PB or battledome item you value more, a Negg collection, etc.

If you don't care about the prize, and can deal with the TP, sell it for the most you can, now or later. I am just bitterly tired of the TP and I haven't even been using it long.

Plus, as much as I beat my own self over the head every day playing sponsor games for my main "reliable" profit (a lil WC and IGS on the side only when I have extra time hehe) I actually like to play for such 'invaluable' virtual prizes if only as a memento that I participated.

The prize item is to be considered, too. I had no idea books sell so well.

I got a runner up medal (I only got where he fell off right, and the hat question) the avatar and the sidebar theme (which is pretty nifty by the way!) I'm pleased that we got something out of it, even if it was something small. You see, that was a mini-plot! I do have to say though, when I saw that we were getting rewards, I half expected to see the bonju avatar there, with a note of TNT laughing at us. A lot.

I got three of the answers right...I was SO EXCITED about getting the trophy and the danged sidebar lol. This was the first thing even remotely plot-like I'd been able to finish (and likewise, my first plot-trophy and my first non-default sidebar), and at first I thought I wouldn't get anything for it. I was so overjoyed I was squeeing all over the place, I wanted to hug Captain Tuan.

phew got 2 correct answers (actually one freebie lol), all i want is a sidebar and avatar and got it (i thought i only got one right, forgot about that freebie one)

I got 3/5 right. I put Linae instead of Bonju and aftdeck instead of crates. I still don't see how you could figure everything out from the comic. I read every chapter over and over. lol I hope they put up an answer summary sheet like they did with other plots.

On another note, I like the trophy and all (even besides that ugly glow or whatever it is around it), but I don't see why this event warranted a trophy. O.o We didn't really do anything and most people just guessed on the answers. There have been quite a few trophies given out this year. At this rate, our lookups will be filled with them before long. It kind of brings down the specialness of the trophies people did work for. :/
