Hrm, well the first two things make obvious sense to me. The last part does not seem any more logical. How does one create this "enough space to travel" and where must space be and where must travelling water be? Now it seems futile to map any changes. I still don't get what the heck ... I can get water in the top pipes in 2/3 rooms, then I am afraid since if I change the wrong thing in the last room, it messes everything up and I then lost any "sequence" I may have had toward possible success.

In other words, it's the sequence the valves and switches are clicked in, not the positions they're in.. would make more sense.

After 5 days of endless turning of wheels and flipping of switches i did it! I almost cried with relief

My Combo was = x+x+ UUDU.......I will now go relieve the stress of this clue and jump up and down on my bed

Thanks, I have known that for 3 days and over 12 hours of doing this.
My question is now, but still, what the heck? It also makes little sense.
I can switch something "on" then what do I do? Make another change? Switching back that same valve or lever does not "undo" the action. And so what if I have no idea what turns on what when, then can't undo that action during testing and observation. I am forced to flood and start over.
So it matters little that it is the sequence, in my opinion. This is perhaps the most unfair puzzle TNT has ever put us through. If their goal was to make a hard puzzle, fine. But then why is it so easy for some to click randomly, without any knowledge of what they are doing, and solve it?
It is sad something like this can put someone out of a plot. What lame prizes so far, too. I mapped 1,000 Tombs in 3 hours, this is plain insane.

Wow, three days!

You've probably already tried this, but just in case...go back thru all of the normal steps. Like the archivist's room and ...back to the quarry...up the lane...etc.etc.
I hate to admit this, but it took me about two minutes of work at the Water Plant, so I'm thinking *MAYBE* you need to trigger something else. There might be a glitch.
Good Luck

I have submitted a bug report, but not heard anything back of course. I have, yes thanks, tried all that too. Backtracking. The gems above the statues are not lit until I find my constellation, but I did what you said anyway. I even went back to that mean Guardian and clicked Continue again. I just checked the Book now, but I also think that is not required. Also did the Quarry and Wall again and again. I am starting to ask myself deep psychological questions, like why I waste my time on this at all?
Having tried "everything" I also find it hard to believe I have not hit something correctly even accidentally. I mean that in itself is against all odds. It is ironic I can fail 1,000 times and still not increase my chances of winning. (Am I the last one left doing this Water Plant thingey?)
EDIT: Maybe TNT is testing me. My patience. And after I will be invited into some uber-elite Scientology Club and this will be all worth it somehow ...

the thing is too no necassarily think of it as a puzzle.. but think of it as if you were really there trying to adjust the water.. another words being a plumber.... and looking at that as your job... while thinking to your self.. "how do i figure out this puzzle?"
what i mean to give water space is to try to only make one trail of water on the top through all the rooms.. think gravity wise.
this water is coming from underneath along from those bowls and therefore needs pressure to rise up
*ps only one in each room. i think just 2. needs to be filled*

Something tells me this is the Janitor's job anyway.

I understand all you are saying. But it is disheartening when it doesn't seem to "matter" what I click on or off. If I make a wrong click once, it surely seems as if I could (oh and I have) spend hours more clicking an entirely wrong sequence. If I click something correct, I have no indication it IS correct!
See my dilemma? The ultimate goal/aim, even if unique to each user, should be X with the sequence to get there being perhaps action A-B-C. If I mess up anywhere along the line, whether it be at click 1 or click 1,000 I still have no idea what I am trying to do, aim for, etc. It makes no sense.
EDIT: It seems there is a random sequence, the worst kind in my opinion. Such that one could of course click for millennia and never get it while others get it in the first 3 clicks. Some can have the "correct final" combination after clicking the same valve or lever on and then off. So, uhm, that is weird. What the heck is TNT trying to do to mah brain!? Argh.

When I finished my sequence, there was no water in the left room, so I don't think it's logical or dependant on what we'd think the vats and canals ought to look like.
Anjuna, I grieve for you. I don't know if it'd help at all, but I always started in the left room so I knew (or thought) I was starting a new sequence each time.

Well this one took about 2 weeks to get on. Is that what you mean? The others were closer together.
