To those who still refuse to use proper capitalization and punctuation, start using it or your posts will be unceremoniously deleted. And warnings will be sent out.

Thankyou. Now back to your reguarily schedualed plot programming.

So my brother, on my urging, didn't pick his oil up at first and instead looked around more... and found it again, behind a different statue. This confirms once and for all that what statue your oil was behind means absolutely NOTHING.

Thank you.

It raises some good points about the 4 golden statues, and it pictures of all of the statues with the gems overlayed on them.

I hadn't even noticed the four golden statues until I read the guide, thanks for posting it.

The statue of Fauna is the same character as the petpet shopkeeper. The Equisite Ambrosia shopkeeper has a sun on her apron. Maybe we need to take a closer look at the Altadoran shops.

I had the strangest dream last night...I was buying from a store on Neopets, and it was Altadorian. It sold only things you'd need for the clubs--shovels and so on. Maybe such a store will exist later. If not, well, it was still a fun dream.

D'you guys think the end result of this will be the [dun dun dun...] Other Side Of Neopia? I think/hope so.

No it's not. I thought that earlier, but it's not.

Fauna is an Acara, whereas the Shopkeeper is a Bori.

I'm not so sure about the four gold statues myself. They form almost a rectangle, and the four stars are definitely more of a rhombus or a kite.

Edit// Also, the statue of the aisha in the purple robe is more of a yellow than a gold, I think. A different shade than the other statues at least.

For those who do not already know.

I am not quite sure, if this has been given out or not. But I noticed that their are still some people who are unsure of the Statue, of the darkest faerie, at the bottom of old Maraqua. At least, a lot of people on neopets who are on the boards, and neo-mailing me after I made a nice post to help some people out... Well I rememberd a link that I once came across. I hope no one has shared this link already, as I do not wish to seem like a..well a New Member I guess you could say.

Sorry, but that's essentially old hat.

I think that at the start of each thread there should be an update of possible theories that are running about, and things that have been discussed to death.

To those asking why there are so many suns all over Altador. Isn't Altador the kigdom/country/whatever of Light? I seem to remember that mentioned someone before, but I can't remember where.

Sun Mar 19, 2006 7:15 pm

If I hear much more about those suns... xD Or the oil. Really, there's no real reason to think they have anything to do with it- at least for the moment (the suns, that is).

Now, the more I think of it, the less convinced I am that Altador will be on the other side of Neopia. Namely because:

a.) I don't see the Team making the map revolve-able like they mentioned in an editorial. Not any time soon.
b.) The coastline of Altador is similar to that of the island between Maraqua and Merridel. Bit of a stretch, perhaps, I know. I hope it's on the Other Side of Neopia, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think that the statues are all bodies and the constellations contain the souls. The same for the darkest fearie except her soul is probably in the orb. The statues look very life like and someone said that the cracks seemed to be getting bigger, maybe the bodies are coming back to life and the light from the roof has something to do with it. This would explain their obsession with the sun. It could have been prophesised that once the sun roof was opened and the rays of sun touched the statues, Altadors heroes would return. Jerdana's could be the reason all this is happening if the protector wanted to reserve all the heroes (she may even be just the protector of the heroes) until they are needed. Then she would be protecting the heroes from death and aging so that they could protect Altador in it's time of need. I think all the people will come out one month at a time. And maybe that month theory will not only tell us who will come back each month but what major event will happen each month. This is all the ideas that i have combined into one theory.

Well at this point there is no real reason to think most anything leads anywhere, and if it does it is possible it's just not set up yet, but since it's so early on we like to throw out as many ideas as we can. Personally I think that, at the moment anyway, we just have to wait because I am sure they haven't set everything in place yet. That is usually how these go anyway. No harm in looking though, and it's always fun to try to predict how things will swing :P

Oh, I don't mind fun little theories and all that jazz- just not the same thing repeated over and over. I could just still be impatient from the last thread, though.

Hmmm

Now, this may seem obvious but, I dont know, it might help in the long run.

Obviously, this sun, is something like a logo for Altador. (Hehe Altador is an anagram to Taldor..not that thats important)

Now, I went into the magical marvels shop, and it sais, "Each piece in this shop is embued with ancient Altadorian magic." (((They spelt a word wrong)))

Almost every piece has something with that annoying sun on it. So Im guessing that this sun, is not just a logo, but something more to Altadorians.

I know this is an "Old hat" but, its nice to throw theories around, and also its not looking as deep as others, its just a scratch at the surface. But I dont know.

Edit::: I believe the sun is used to protect, its in buildings near doorways, Helmets and shields, the heroes. This may be a long stretch but I just noticed that.
