Snowglobe Staff and the Frost Cannons don't break permanently. They break for the battle alone. Scroll of Freezing breaks permanently, on the other hand.
That's true, sorry for the false information, I kinda misunderstood it when I looked it up, the only freezing item I've ever used is the H4000 Helmet...

I dont see any points building up from us winning these battles... maybe they are just something to keep us occupied but arent included in the points or sumtin.....
I hope they
are giving us points for this... It's really possible that they are you know, cause we've never seen any points so far, not with the sand moving, furniture placing, completing the tablet, ... So I suppose you'll get your total (possible with an overview of where you've earned all your points) when everything is over.
As for fighting strategies, he's a quick "guide" on how to beat the Spirit at least once:
In your first move, you can do two things: try to freeze him (withdraw if you aren't succesful at freezing) and use something like the Scarab Ring to attack and select either your strongest attack, drain life, burrow or sink, depending on which one of those you've got and whether you've got many hitpoints yourself or not (if you're a bit weaker, then you should defend, otherwise attacking can help you to beat him in two rounds).
In the second round, just give it the hardest punch you can, using things like Scarab Stone Slingshot, Scarab Ring, Obsidian Dagger, ... combined with your strongest attack (probably fierce attack). If this doesn't finish him, then just begin defending (leaf shield or downsize) and using your defensive abilities, combined with an attacking weapon until he's down.
The other strategy is one you can do when you've got plenty of hitpoints. It's just throwing all you've got at him from the first second and only start defending when your hitpoints get low. With the weapons listed all over this thread, you might be able to beat him this way!
