Well, I took a chance at something I was thinking about. It didn't seem to do anything different.

I was thinking...since we seem to get "trapped" when telling the faerie statue our prophecy, something about the symbol on the statue might be a clue.

It said that

"A secret panel on the base of the statue slowly begins to open...
A silver glow issues forth from the compartment behind the panel..."

So wouldn't we need to know about the symbol?

So, I decided after getting back into the temple ... that I would go read the scroll that corresponded to the my statue.

Same message ... nothing new there, though.

Oh well, 12 hour lock out. *snap*

I'll try the prophecy again when I get let back in.

Hee! That was kind of awesome. They make you scroll down forever, getting all excited -- you're all "flashes of light! Things moving! ...PILE OF SCARABS!?" The only thing that would make it better is if your pet stayed a pile of scarabs for an hour, just like it stays a pile of sand.

Anyway, I doubt this is the end of the puzzle, as the fortune teller says maybe we can figure something else out. And we haven't used the library scrolls yet...

Is it only me that was disappointed not to find my pet turned into a pile of scarabs like with the pile of sand? Hehe, I rushed to my user lookup in excitement xD

No. XD I rushed to pet central in hopes that I had a scarab pet, ready to point and laugh at Toddy -frowns- I really wanted oneee! XD

Well, it doesn't work for me then. I've tried it three times in Firefox, restarted, tried again, then tried it in IE, twice. I think I'll just try and do it when I wake up.

It didn't work on Fire Fox because of the pop-up blocker. I tried IE and it worked. It's gonna be a little troublesome having to switch around chapters looking for the Symbol you need.
