It annoys me how much Garin's nose has been changing. It was pointy and Pepto Bismol pink there for a while. :roll:

It also looks as if different artists drew Garin. I personally like the first style the best. :)
It is quite evident that there are different artists. Apart from the inconcistency between all the characters from picture to picture the Tuskaninny on the fishing boat isn't even the same color in the two side by side pictures...

Considering Garin is able to stand up and not be shaky on his two feet and still be able to draw the weapon he stole on the bartender, for all we know there could be coffee in that mug...

...What? It didn't cross your minds? *chuckles* I'm weird, I know.

I don't mind the different artists taking the pool at drawing up the comics; shows that they're working as a team for one. Sure there are little inconsistencies, but all artists have their flaws. It's just evident on some more than others. As an artist, no two pieces of work I draw are the same. My style even alters depending on my concentration levels.

But that is just me ^^;

I think I'm starting to like Garin again, if only for how cute he looks. I'm still annoyed by his attitude, though. I'm actually quite astonished that he even remembered poor Jacques in this chapter :o

Oh yeah...

He actually had the time to think of his friend before his boat and stuff... Quite a good friend indeed but grabbing the arm of his crewmate..

Nasty!

I don't see why so many people don't like Garin... I mean, he's what I would have wanted Hannah to be - one of those heros who -isn't- all 'hey look, I'm a hero, so although I'm a pirate I'm going to be good, sit still and not steal anything from this new city that's probably full of nice, shiny stuff.'

..or something like that. In any case, I like him. ^^

Reaction to first page: Are they talking about Scarblade or Voldemort? (You know, the he-who-must-not-be-named thing)
Reaction to second page: He's threatening to gut a Red Yurble like a Herring. Ahem. Usually people just say "gut you like a fish" instead of specifying specific types.
Reaction to third page: Reminds me of whichever hobbit couldn't keep his mouth shut in the Prancing Pony in FotR. Except this time we don't have Frodo going "OMG SHUT UP!"
Overall Reaction: That Wocky still needs a hug ;_;

They're obsessed! (was it Merry or Pippin? It's gonna drive me crazy until I know!)

Quote:
Frodo returned his gaze but said nothing; and Strider made no further sign. His attention seemed suddenly to be fixed on Pippin. To this alarm Frodo became aware that the ridiculous young Took, encouraged by his success with the fat Mayor of Michel Delving, was now actually giving a comic account of Bilbo's farewell party.

I just thought of something that a lot of you have probably thought of before...

So Isca predicts terrible things in the future with her dreams and uses them to help Maraqua avoid danger, right ??

Caylis predicts terrible things in the future with her nightmares...and instead of being asked to help Maraqua with them, they shunt her to the side and finally exile her...

Ummm....riiiiiiiight

I don't get it either, TDG. You think that they'd use both sisters to help prevent bad things that would happen. Now its like... only half a scissor. Chop at the thing enough, and you'll bound to get somewhere, but it would be so much easier with both sides.

... Odd Neopets. :P

Yeah I mean it's like saying.

"Sorry, both of you know half of the code to prevent the bomb from exploding, however, only one of you can enter their half. The other one must go away"

So both of them predict bad things.... Isn't it the same things? Dreams and nightmares do not make much of a difference except for the person dreaming it :roll:

The weird thinking of maraquans. And i guess now we know why they are destroyed before. They LACK of brains.

No, Isca predicts bad things as well. The story in the magazine tells of her dreams and stuff. Yep. <.<
