You have to wonder though if it is a mistake or a glitch of some sort. Because you would think that TNT would have told someone about it before doing something so radical--if not us, at least the beta testers. After all, PPTers were told about the the top banner before it was put into place--to sort of feel us out before introducing it to the public. And, no beta tester has come on the forums to say that they knew about it beforehand.

And, you would think that they would have blocked it for premium users. Because when they were touting the premium service in the news a while back, they said that one of the benefits was no ads. Surely, they wouldn't be putting these ads on premium accounts unless it was a mistake or glitch or some sort.

Just makes me scratch my head and wonder if it isn't some sort of weird glitch that wasn't supposed to happen. After all, its not like we haven't seen glitches before.

Since I have two computers I went on the other one. I went to but a snicklebeast I saw that was really really cheap, only 2k, then my computer froze because of the ads! I could have made an easy 4k!

3 ads per page is going overboard TNT, you CLAIM to not accept donations but instead you love the money you make from the banners that are big enough to be a person in their own right!

I changed my mind about blocking that ads before, can someone give me the html for the blocking?

Step 1: Put the following into a word processor and save as a .css file (remember where it is).

div.ban,div#ban {
display: none !important;
}

Step 2: Go to "Tools" in top pulldown and select 'Internet Options' at the bottom
Step 3: Go to 'Accessibility' in the bottom right.
Step 4: Select User Format Sheet toggle box
Step 5: Select your document.
Step 6: Click "Ok" and exit

Firefox & Netscape

Step 1: If you don't have Firefox already, get it here. Configure it, etc.
Step 2: Download these 2 extensions in Firefox after installing the browser -
AdBlock 0.5.2
ChromEdit
Step 3: Restart Firefox, then click on Tools - Adblock - Preferences
Step 4: Add 3 new filters:

http://images.neopets.com/ads/*
Click Add button to save them. Then click done.
Step 5: Go to Tools - Edit User Files, then click on the userContent.css tab.

Step 7: Restart Firefox and enjoy an ad-free NeoPets experience.

umm...yeah. my thoughts exactly. we play neo, so therefore we are affected by this, and you don't, so you arent. a neopets board probably wont be of much interest to you, especially if you don't like the complaints.
