Actually, if you break a wee rule, you'll gain your treasures beyond compare from part of the plot. Of course, you'll be frozen for using it...but still...

Weird, I tried it twice already and still nothing happens.

Wed Nov 23, 2005 9:47 am

A cheat? I haven't heard of this.

Wed Nov 23, 2005 9:50 am

Don't go looking. It'll only get you in trouble. Happened to me accidently when playing around a bit doing something completely unrelated. Reported the bug and not telling anybody what it is (using it will most likely get you iced, so don't go looking...)

I'm curious to what it is now. Could you pm it to me. i promise I won't use it, as I don't want to be frozen anyway

Don't be discouraged, CWisgood. I had to do mine a few times as well. I dunno if I made small mistakes or what. Keep trying!

I'm quite curious myself.

Has anyone tried translating their first tablet from bottom to top, right to left?

Not recently, but I know back in the day when we first did it, after you had translated your tablet, clicking on any symbol would just take you back to your completed tablet.

Crystal 2

I didn't read all the posts but I'm stuck on crystal 2. I have the crystal and my tablet all done but I can't figure out which scrolls to read. Can someone email me or neomail me and tell me what to do? My whole guild is stumped.

If you post here your tablet, the scroll catalogue and the sequence of lights, I'm sure someone will help you :)

I'll help.

If you put the crystal in the model city, you should've gotten another series of lights. Starting with your first symbol and first color, assign each symbol a color. Go left to right.

Once you finish that, ignore the red, yellow, and blue symbols. Focus only on the green, purple, and orange ones. Read your scroll backwards (ie. if you last symbol is a set, that is the first one you search for), and figure out the order to read. Remember to only use the green, purple, and orange ones. It helps to make a list.

Next, refer to your card catalogue. You must read the primary colors first in the order of the catalogue. Using an example, if you have a green djo and your catalogue is RYB, you would read a yellow djo scroll first, then a blue djo scroll next. That should give you the location of the green djo scroll. Go to the area and read the scroll. Do this for all of your symbols.

If you do this correctly, you'll get a clue for a jelly trap. That help?

unless you're weird like me and had to go back and re-read the first scroll everytime. no matter what order I went in... ;)

Color Mixing; Gettin Third Crystal (With Screenies)

1- Crystal colors 1 + crystal colors 2 = new colors. You have colors 1 and new colors. You must 'fabricate' colors 2.
2- Use only the 8 symbols with different colors. Ignore blanks and the ones that don't change.
3- Start at the bottom of your tablet and read scrolls in REVERSE order of your tablet.
4- You need to 'mix colors' by reading scrolls from original and fabricated scrolls to get a a NEW location for unlisted colors.
_a) didn't get a message? Try reading the two scrolls in different order
(IE go back and read the first one again)
_b) Unconfirmed: Read in catelogue color order

5- Read the color from the second 'Indiana Effect' with corresponding symbol and location given.
_a) All of the same symbol. IE red ahn + blue ahn = purple ahn
_b)Each scroll has it's own room. Original and Fabricated are in the new directory. Second 'Indiana Effect' is in the room given.

6- Repeat for all eight. You will read eight original, eight fabricated, and eight mixed for a total of 24 scrolls.
__a) If you mess up, you only have to go back to after your last 'solved' section. You don't have to do it all over
7- You will get a new clue.
8- Visit a jelly trap and click on the bone.
9- You get the third Crystal.
10- Put third crystal over miniature city. Your colors are the same? Yes!

What happened to the extra blocks? Hear me out before dismissing this. Each block we removed from the Repository was another space for us to walk. It was mentioned that the Rukis were making the furniture out of the blocks, so a lot of the block we took out were put back. But what about the blocks that made up the corridors and other areas we could walk over that did not have blocks? Banished, perhaps, to another dimension? (Wait! I meant plane of existance :P ). If the work crews were smart and big on recycling, they could use the left over blocks to make home for themselves. Maybe the cost of stone rooms for our Neohomes will go down once the excess building materials floods the market. One last idea: maybe the fore-chef and Ed the ID stacked all the extra blocks up, got out their 4th crystal, and played the largest game of Destuct-o-match this side of Tyrannia. Ooo. I like that idea , but why didn't they invite me  !

The "extra blocks" are the ones that made all the furniture that got stolen as we were moving the furniture into the repository. Do you think we'll have to track down the theives? Could that be the fuel that stokes the fire that is Razul?
