I've lost respect for Nabile too, but I don't like the idea of some strange character, who so far has not made an appearance in the comic anyway, just showing up and teaming up with Tomos.

But she is looking for a wand to break a curse (apparently in a Tomb, as well)? I know not all TCG Cards play a role in plots, but I wanted to see Megan from the beginning (or middle). After all, Razul showed up somewhat unexpectedly at the "end." I didn't notice much comic foreshadowing, but then again I am a sap for soap operas of all kinds. :P

Razul did show up unexpectedly, now that you mention it. Well, maybe I just don't want another woman added to the plot. Seems like there is plenty. ((Maybe a little jealous. )

Oh come on now, Nabile clearly just plain SOLD OUT. She was born in da ghetto and "wanted a normal life" but instead sold out to pseudo-royalty just to see her belly full (and ditched her best friend for it). I have about as much respect for her as I do for Amira now. Heroes? That has yet to be seen, in my opinion. I would LOVE to see Megan team up with poor abandoned Tomos and save the day.

aww, that's not fair... Nabile married a monster that no one had seen any good from at all, because an old tablet told her it would end the curse. to marry a freak because you read it would help, on some piece of rock in a language you don't understand is pretty noble to me. amira wasn't noble enough to do anything at all. and remember, it said "when true love meets" or something like. so jazan had just as much chance of loving nabile as he did amira. there was no garuntee he would love her as well as she loved him. kinda obvious she didn't sell out for any kind of life. his kingdom is destroyed and full of zombies.

The problem with trying to guess the future is that we have no idea about the past. The details about Nabile's past was lost because of bad record keeping. Razul, Jazan, and Qasala were forgotten because of bad/no record keeping. The problem with figuring true story of the comic is that we were not given the whole backstory and character diagrams. (Please note that I'm talking comic, not plot. This will not help with the puzzle, but will help with the comic and the story arc in general). The problem with the lack of source materials is that it is up to the fans to fill in the blanks. Too many authors wanting to tell the same story is why I only read the comics in the Neopian Times. If there is one thing we can do, we can try to influence TNT to enforce more canon into the plots. I think the 'Neopian Dark Age' theory would be a great one for them to adopt. It leaves the entire section during the dark age open for interpretation while it leaves the before and after as set works to build huge stories upon. This comic works so well with this idea. We have set history after the rediscovery of Sakhmet, all we will need is the pre-dark age history (preferably a golden age destroyed by a massive war). Sigh. I wish it wasn't up to us to write this. I appologize for the inconvience and waste of space. Please delete/ignore if this is unwanted.

Edit: Please note that I do not want to be the one that writes the backstory, but I will if offered the job.

I wandered over to the former Foreman today, and he again mentioned how all he has is these mislabled boxes, and suddenly I have the answer.

The Furniture Thieves(Thief) Revealed!

Obviously, those boxes contain some powerful artifacts, as witness the magical "useless" crystal. (See Clarke's Law.) And it hasn't happened yet, but eventually the Chef will, among those boxes, find two things. One, a time machine. Two, a matter converter the Chef can use to turn objects into food.

But what to use in the converter? There are scrolls galore in the repository, but he'd get into trouble if he used those. There's scads of furniture, but it's all in use. But . . .

. . . the stolen furniture isn't being used (because it was stolen). When the Chef thinks of that, he'll realize he can -- in fact, already did -- steal the furniture from the recent past and bring it into what is for him the present, for us right now the near future. It's for a good cause, he'll figure, since he's doing it to feed everyone. And after all, he knows he wasn't caught because, well, the "thieves" weren't caught.

It only seemed there were multiple thieves because he kept popping into our time while our pets looked in the wrong direction or blinked (maybe he will also find a third item, for disguise/invisibility), all over the repository, so that at any given moment, there were several of him stealing racks and tables and such, while outside the repository the Foreman of that time was raging about all the thefts. If only he'd known!

What the Chef won't recall until too late, though, is that the thieving eventually came to a sudden halt. Perhaps he finally gets his food shipment and doesn't need to steal anymore . . . perhaps he gets caught . . . or perhaps by the time the food shows up, he has been Seduced by the Dark Side of the Force and takes up a life of time-traveling crime. Was the Foreman the one actually behind the theft of Coltzan's crown? Was he once stranded in Tyrannia until he could make repairs? (Remember the disguise ability.) But I don't think the Chef/Foreman will travel to the far future, steal a space station, and become Dr. Sloth.

Clearly, Frank Sloth is the real name of Ed.

Edited to fix a sentence structure mangled by partial rewrite.

Divine Words of the Poet, thy name is hiddenneggs. That was more brilliant than anything I can think of at this time. You are one of the masters.

Sigh. These lulls would be horrible if it weren't for people like us and our crazy, non-canon ideas.

Hi :D ,

I'm not sure whether anybody has asked this b4 but hope u all can help. :P

Need some help with getting the third crystal. I have fallen into the jelly trap but I did not get any picture of the jelly blob, just words, thus no crystal :( . I have already completed all the tasks (such as getting 2nd crystal and reading all the scrolls to get the clue).

The same actually happened for the 2nd crystal but thanks to the link provided i was able to get the 2nd crystal.

Is there a link for the 3rd crystal too?

hiddenneggs... that was beautiful.... <3

no news on the tomos avatar it seems, so i'm supposing it isn't released. and the matter of "megan" still puzzles me. she seems to be a very specific character to create who happens to be in a tomb (which was stated earlier), so it seems highly unlikely she was created merely for the TCG set... whereas you could say that Sophie the Swamp Witch probably was (though i'm sure she will be in TDF Plot), though they DID have her pic on that strange page with the spining yellow Ben scroll. Ah well, it's all a mystery! :P

I actually hope you get points for doing that since one of my friends has only been doing that and not the puzzle, and I want him to get somethign for his effort.

this is probably nothing but its a thought...did anyone have scrolls on 5th floor? I dont remember having to find any there, I just remember going thru there for the secret passageway...it just seemed weird that if no one had used any of those scrolls why put scrolls in there then??? ok well I had to throw my two cents in...most likely it'll turn out to be nothing but no sense in leaving any scroll overturned;)

Skynetmain, that is an incredible idea! you are absolutely right about there being an after-golden-age dark age! it makes perfect sense... yet, sadly, i doubt that neo has thought that deeply into it... hopefully the logical sense (i won't call it common sense, because it isn't common) that is shown in your theory is possessed at least to some degree by the neopets team.

i now have incredibly high hopes about future plots!! would that Sky was on the TNT spring-board team! :)

My wife, among others. Since it was just one section, there were lots of people who didn't have any in that particular section.
