I admit I don't play Sutek's Tomb fanatically, but I got a new "icon" on my board, and I was wondering if this is normal, new, a clue, anyone else seen it, etc.?

I didn't get to capture the caption at the top of the board, but it said, "It looks like Sutek's Sacred Ankh!"

Oops. Yeah. My mistake. I did read it that way but must have omitted it from my memory as I was trying to concoct some theories and find peace with the latter part of the plot.

Maybe everything else besides that could work. Hehe. :P

(Grasping at straws here.)

That's been a part of the game since the day it came out.

 Oh, sorry, well what can I do with it? Do I just need to get it to the bottom of the screen? There aren't any other ankhs so I can't match them.

It clears the bottom row and column it's in when it reaches the bottom. :)

Don't beat up the Great Llama just cause she made one small gaffe. I happen to agree with most of what she says. Where I diverge is the area between puzzle and comic. Except for the translation part of the puzzle, neither have really synched up. The comic is over, hackneyed ending and all, but the puzzle is still out there.

I agree with the waiting/we're clueless idea that we have something left to finish. I don't think there will be anymore comics, unless they throw out part 14 and bring in two or three more episodes to fix any of the many holes still out there.

Oh well. Back to waiting and hoping the plot holes were just a divergence between the people running the comic and those running the puzzle. As I point out a lot in one of my classes, inter-group communication is key.

From this weeks Neopian Times: I know this won't get published probably, but I just wanted compliment the artists who worked on the LDP comic, especially the Nightsteed. I think he's one of the best drawn plot characters so far. I hope we see some more of him around... *cough* ~ blueelm
Published! Take that!

In all seriousness, thank you very much! I'm sure the artists that work tirelessly trying to illustrate these plots sincerely appreciate your compliment. It really is a bummer that we can't please everyone all the time, despite our best efforts, so it's an extremely good feeling to know that there are users out there that appreciate us! :)

As for the others... well, they will turn soon enough. Oh yes... soon enough.

-I was wondering if the above meant that there r those who like the comics, and there r those that dont, and the 1s that dont will like it in the near future, ie, new ldp comics, so the comic thats out thats supposedly the end, wudnt really be the end, and thats y the ending was sooooo horrible

I don't know what to put!!! I just don't know what to put!!! Argghhh!!! Signature Block!!!

Oh, yes. Thank you, TNT for that delightful set of puzzles!

I still wish I knew whether the last clue is "out there" and we've missed it. :(

Quiet. You make it sound like the rest of us are ungreatful for the puzzles. I know I loved the puzzles. I loved all the help everyone here gave me as well. I loved the downtime between clues the most since it gave me time to focus on unimportant stuff like homework or sleep.

Anyway, if the clue was out there someone would have stumbled upon it by now... either that or we're totally blind.

Edit: I'm also not ungreatful about the comic as a whole, just the ending. I've seen and wrote some bad endings, and this is amoung the middle of that pack.

Edit 2: Ooo! Totally agree with WockyChocky below! I never knew I was one of the few that didn't have a fancy pet.

The best part was where a pet teamed up with 5 other pets to move a block. It was really cool to see all the characters there, and being on a team.

Hey Everyone,

I'm working on getting my 4th crystal, and I was wondering who all has theirs already?? It seems as if I've tried every door in the tomb :( it's extremely fustrating. Does anyone think there's a system or something to it or is it just really random?

Oh well, here's to hoping everyone finds what they're looking for. :)

Judging from my tomb, the traps stay the same. I searched for the jelly trap and the riddle traps while I reading my scrolls. When I found one, I marked the room and when I came back, it was the same trap.

Do you still have a list of where your tablet pieces were found? I went through mine and found a jelly trap.

I started out trying every door of a particular symbol/colour but it doesn't work. In the end the best way seemed to be to start at the beginning and try every door in the 'block' then move on to the next block etc. Don't try random doors be systematic. It took me 34 doors but I did find it eventually - don't give up.

Hey you guys. I do still have my doors written down from where I looked for the tablet pieces. Thanks so much for your help and encouragment, trust me I won't give up, I've come too far to do that. :)

Once again going back to the last comic and including the caption contest, I think this plot did help prove one thing: after all the killing, rampaging, and brain eating, all zombies want to do is have a party and dance. Seeing all the zombies and mummies, even Tomos' captor, laughing and having fun is a very nice sight to behold. Too bad we didn't get a Coltzan zombie. I bet he knows how to cut a rug.
