okay. please help me. i'm working on the first crystal sequence. i was lucky and got the light the first time i went to the secret room.

so, okay. i'm just confused as to what the first post is telling me to do. my lights go

b x x r r r y x y x b b r y b y

and my tablet is
fer kha fer ben
nem djo lat fer
fer ahn kar ra
kha ra nem lat

so does that mean that my light sequence translates to:
b-fer r-ben r-nem r-djo y-lat y-fer b-kar b-ra r-kha y-ra b-nem y-lat?

the top of my crystal is blue yellow red.

so then i take all bs, blue that is, and find them on the blue rack? right? and then what do i do? do i go through the repository, find the blue fer scroll in the anubis toxicology reports room (that's what my blue rack says) and read it? and so forth with all the colors, essentially going through the whole repository, reading the scrolls in order? is that right?

Go to the room listed for red djo and red it then go to the room listed for the yellow djo and read that one.

Skizzy, on the first set, read the scrolls in the order that they are on the racks. If your first tablet symbols are Blue Fer, and then blue Ra, but Ra is above Fer on the blue card catalog, you'd read Blue ra before blue fer.

Make sense now?

A quick question.

When I start my 2nd set of scroll reading. Say I have a djo as my last tablet symbol, and it corresponds to a orange on my lights. If my 1st set of lights gave yellow, I would go to the room corresponding to the red djo on my catalogs, and read both the red and the yellow djo scrolls there?

Then continue on to the 2nd to last tablet symbol?

For me, it worked to read the 2 primary color scrolls in the order of the card catalog -- that is, my card catalog is in order yellow-blue-red. For orange, I read yellow, then red. Purple was blue before red. And green was yellow before blue. Everyone has a different order, though, so be sure too check yours.

Read the scrolls from back to front on the tablet, yes. Make sure that the color order is based on the color order of your new card catalogs. Mine was RBY, so I read R before Y, B before Y, and R before B.

There is only one correct scroll in each room. You have to look at all the racks until you find it.

I'm terribly confused about this second crystal, right this is my new light.
This is my tablet and this is my old light.
(I've done the first crystal thing though).

First mark the new light colors on your tablet exactly as you did the first time. Then compare them and mark off only the new colors, excluding ones that match up with your first set. You should have 8 new colors.

You then work from the bottom up on your tablet. Say your last color is an Orange NEM. Go read the Red and Yellow NEM scrolls and you'll be given the room the Orange Nem scroll is in from reading the second scroll. If you aren't given a room name, reverse those and read the Yellow one and then the Red one. It seems that it works if you read the color that is first in your order of catalogs.
