Ah, that was the best. I got my old Faerie Kyrii that way. *Memories!*
But I'm sure it would be harshly abused now since there are many more members. New accounts would be created, more sponsors signed up for, more Darigan and Faerie pets floating around. Then again...*ahem* those sponsors would give TNT more money.

I wonder if they're gonna give out a random colour to a newbie pack. If that happens, then the "undo a wrong choice of colour" theory might not work...otherwise, they'd have to give out all four colours.

They can limit it to one per computer. I know even back then they did that (I would try to sign up on more than 2 accounts and it just wouldn't let me).

Hey...I wonder...

You think that maybe now instead of getting the standard color choices like we all did a newbie will have to choose some newbie paint brush color choice, which will in turn change their pets into a "sparkly" version of the standard color until it ages a while (sparkly as to denote "fresh and young" as to mark their pet and their account as new?) Sorta like a living, newbie shield?

Well, in all honesty now we just have to wait to see when they'll come out and what they're purpose is. (If any.) I think it might just be for people to try out the whole "paint brush idea." When I was a newbie I wanted to know so much what a paintbrush and would do and what it would be like to paint my pets. (Heh, I guess I was expecting flashing lights to go off and fireworks to light.)

I thought I never got a newbie pack, but apparently I did because I don't have that option. In fact, I am pretty sure I never got one because when one of my friends signed up I was mad because they got one and I didn't. Oh well, it's just a paint brush that I probably wouldn't ever use.
