Although I don't see aproblem with her hands, she does look a little crosseyed, and her mouth is funny... I guess they took her picture when she wasn't ready... I have kinda the same look in my driver license!

no if you put your mouse over the header, it says " neopets- Curse of maraqua recruitment center" and has water in the html
It looks like her eyes are a little off center. Hmm looks kinda weird.

They may just be using it as a placeholder until they make a new one, or else they're going to start using that as a generic banner for all war recruitments.

Before the Curse of Maraqua plot went up, the page had that "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" message and the Hannah and the Ice Caves plot banner. So the recruitment banner probably is a placeholder.

I like that caption contest image, it's pretty cute. I have a thing for Baabaas and all other sheep-related things.
The Illusen images are good, but something seems off. Twizzy thinks it's the nose and that could be right. Hmmm...The one with the Buzz is the cutest. That Buzz looks like he's dancing, it's soo kwoot!

Just a retouch for when you do one of her quests. Don't know if anyone noticed, I sure didn't until I just did one of ehr quests.
Does the Illusen in those images remind you of Bewitched? That show with a witch name Samantha, that twitched her nose and magic things happened? It does for me, and whenever I stare at those images I keep waiting for some type of animation and seeing her twitch her nose and something random happens.

the thing i liked about the old image is that illusen looked kinda snarky and impatient, despite what she was telling you, and it gave her so much more personality. i don't like that illusen is supposed to be some kind of absolute good; it was great that she had this pouty, irritated side. but now she's all cute and happy and jhudora's in the gallery of evil and simplistic and boring wins over layered and interesting once again.
