Doesn't bother me. My only gripe is that I tried to click on a stamp in the Stamp Shop, and I accidentally clicked on Classmates.com. But nothing harmful.

Well, here's some new news.
Apparently hubrids_mansion self-iced his account because he couldn't deal with ads any more...
Quite sad to see such talented players quit because of Neo's greediness.

Can someone confirm premium is seeing these bottom ads too?

When the ads were first changed I did see them, but now I think they fixed it because they're not showing up for me anymore.

I hate the bottom ads, isn't the banner ads enough? I think it makes the site look cheap.

Hahaha, a lot of people are quitting...

But a very cute trend I saw, those that are quitting for good are buying up as many sponsor items as they can, and are DISCARDING them before they ice thier accounts.

This is just bloody outrageous! I saw this topic earlier and was "hm...Someone is stating there is new banner ads" and didn't think about it much more.

So I went to Desert Scratch area and I saw this and I was like "What in the hello?" and did my thing, it stayed. So I went towards Haunted Woods and I see them there too!!!

I'm sorry, but wasn't Adam and fellow TNT "Sorry for having to do this to us" with the increase in banners size??? What about this now? Seriously.


The only good thing, which isn't good at all, is players are quitting Neopets. But if that is the case valueable items to players who still want to play are being lost because of TNT's doing.

We have now put ads on the bottom because we love money and want more! we dont have enough money to cover bandwith costs.

When I first got onto Neo today, I thought there was spyware on my comp or something, so I ran adaware. Well, then I came back to Neo, and they were still there.

I adblocked all the ads, and that seems to be holding them off - for now, because there are only 4 or 5 different ads. x_o

Yeah, how will TNT explain this? "I'm sorry, but we're adding a big banner to the bottom of the page because we want more money"?

I never minded the side ads. I didn't much mind the banner ads. I was annoyed by the huge banner ads. But this? It's just nuts. Not only is that now 3 ads on almost every page, but they're huge. It's not just the idea of the ads that's bothersome either, I really feel that it makes the layout of the site much messier. It doesn't look nearly as clean and put together as it should.

Well, it's a good thing I have adblock. Adblock- keeping neopets playable for a better tomorrow.
