Guys, an avvie for ppt members only would be awful. Everyone and their dog would sign up here, bringing in everyone from the neoboards, etc etc, slowing down the servers, crashing the boards, and basically ending life here as we know it.

PPT only is better. Maybe it would be called Pink Poogle Toy. The subtext would be "copyrighted" or something. :/

I love the idea for a PPT-only av. (A limited-edition av for active posters who have been signed up to the site for a week or longer, then immediately retired. )
I *hate* the new banner. I will live with it, if it keeps neo free. But it is really really ugly. The banner is a huge block at the top of the page with no styling or flow with the rest of the page. It makes neo look like every other site in existance, when all it needs is a slight makeover to give it that 'neo' feel. I was a LOT more upset about this until I read what coming2atvnearu said. He is exactly right, TNT hasn't really had a track record of being up-front about major problems/changes, and I do indeed appreciate their willingness to admit when something might not be popular. However, as much as I love getting a new avatar, it does kind of feel like they're trying to appease the masses. I do so hope Adam will get a new avatar for himself that only he can use.

I hope they put the banner in an iFrame. That way I can block all the blank space after blocking the ad
Of course, even if it's not in an iFrame, I WILL be finding a way to remove the blank space completely. Firefox has spoiled me

Well then, I'm pretty dissapointed about the new banner, but that is what I said about the last one. I'm sure I'll get used to it. May I suggest a border or something of that nature on the banner, because it looks really out of place. I know you guys have to have advertising, so the advertising doesn't bother me, but the size does. Is it possible that instead of the ginormous one at the top, you but a ragular sized one at the top, and 2 smalls ones on the side?
BTW: I appreciate your honesty in the matter, the fact that you came out and explained why, instead of just doing it is great.

The ad.....it looks wrong with MyIE2, as I block the banner ads. What it looks like: a messed up error coding page, with it....well, o_0 already posted the picture, so who cares.

I'm kinda with robert2100 here on the borders. I've noticed that the current layout has a full outline down the side (I mean on the right of Create A Pet, Pet Central, Explore, Games, World...etc.), but the proposed one does not, and has a strange outline cutoff at the top. This might be because it's just a preview, but still, just in case. ;P
Also, it'd look a little better if the ad had a bordering line on the right as well, but from my understanding, that would make it harder to erase the ad and align it flush to the top of the browser?
Love the new username/pet/NP positioning (hmm, it wasn't there the last time I checked, but it's there now anyway).
Sure, having a bigger banner disappoints me, but it's all understandable. As long as there aren't any more glitches or rollbacks that cause me to lose another Snow Paint Brush. *shrug*

Im just happy to see that they were actually not to happy about it themselves either. The told us in detail what was going to happen and why. They really showed that they care about their users and that we're not just $$$ to them. And you know what, to make up for it they gave us an avatar. Thats quite generous if you ask me. Thanks Adam for giving up your unique avatar to keep users at ease.
