So far, there is no new clothes to buy, but I am sure that will change by what I have read in TNT's tutorial.

This makes me wonder about these "Deluxe Paint Brush Sets" and Clothing in general. They mentioned being able to buy from Uni's Clothing (or at least teased us with the misleading thought) then list New Items on the front page of the site that you can't buy yet. Grr. So if we might soon be able to buy Deluxe PB Sets, why not sell Paint Brushes in Neopian Shops? Or maybe it will contribute to PB deflation, who knows?
I wish that they would have told us a little more about some of these details, instead of being so vague and leading many to believe that there might be an option to travel back in time so to speak. I somehow think that they are saying more with that "Convert" button. It's Irreversible.
They should just go back to the way things were and find different ways to increase revenue. Keeping the users happy should be priority number one. I would rather they go back to the old layout and charge every user a meager fee to access the site. I am dirt poor and I would continue playing the OLD version of the site for say $1-2 a month or something. They could even have Premium still too, but perhaps the old way if that is what Premium users prefer. Heck even keep it this way for free, but I wouldn't want to use it. That only creates more incentive to pay for the old version. They are seriously running out of good ideas. I am amazed that these big head CEO types seem to know nothing about business.

From what I remember them saying in the news the Deluxe PB sets won't be able to be bought or sold. You get them when your pet is painted that color. I guess you can move them around to your other pets if they are the same species..but I don't think they'll be an actual buyable item.

Paint Brushes are not changing! You will still need a Royal Paint Brush if you want to paint your Neopet Royal, for example. The only difference is that, now, you get items to wear AND a colour change. This gives you more freedom for customisation. You can pick and choose what to wear!
Currently, any items that are granted through Paint Brush use are not able to be sold or traded.
Hmm..they do say currently...Drat them and their ambiguity!

I must be really tired or that even makes less sense. So if I buy a regular Royal PB it 'translates' into a Deluxe Set? So basically only a couple Paint Brush styles will come with clothes and accessories? The rest of us are stuck with no customisation options unless the painted version has 'wearable' things drawn into it? But then certain things must eventually be available to buy? That ugly "Bling" that went on my ugly Cloud Shoyru, for instance, or was all of that just a bad dream too?

The way I'm understanding is that you buy a paintbrush that already comes with clothes/accessories (Royal, Island, ...um. I'm tired too..ect) and that qualifies you for a deluxe pb set..meaning you get the whole shebang, but can take their pants off if they don't suit your fancy.
Everyone with pets that don't come drawn with clothes have to wait until TNT releases clothes for us to buy or have two pets of the same species and have one painted with clothing options.
TNT let us play with the Deluxe sets in Beta, I assume, for testing purposes only. They never said we'd get to keep them.
And they use the word currently, so maybe eventually they plan on being able to release the items? Or maybe they just want to keep the door open..I dunno. I doubt they ever would but I never thought they'd uglify the site the way that they have too..so..who knows.

All of this is finally starting to seep into my dense brain. I guess I was just sort of hoping that from their Uni's Clothing comment that some particular items would be available, apart from Paint Brushes (now called Sets).
Perhaps they will eventually? If not, then this double-whammy of a revamp seems doubly more lame to me. I also got very emotional over it earlier. I believe I even shed a few tears, definitely more than a few sobs.
I am still in shock and angry; but also depressed, listless, almost bored.
Yet I won't visit a site that rattles my brain when I am already frazzled.

It seems like it would have made much more sense to ONLY allow customisation of pets that ever even COULD wear clothes. Unless they plan on at some point releasing 'food' and other odd clothing items like suggested here. There is still something about this that I am not grasping. Unless the beta for this was totally random, am I now to assume that if I have a Cloud Shoyru I can only customize him with "cloudy" items (if they exist) and that gawdawful Disco Bling can never be an option? IIRC I thought we could have almost any kind of 'clothing' on almost any pet?
I am now even more confused than ever.

They just haven't released any clothes we can put on our pets yet. Once they do you can purchase them and dress your pets to your delight.
The disco bling probably won't be an option for a long time, but they might release something similar.
Basically, TNT launched this whole thing even though it wasn't quite ready yet..so now we're stuck with modules and errors and customized pets we can't dress and just have to deal with them being ugly. This will hopefully be fixed by next week.

maybe they will do it so the only ones who can see you are your 'prefered' friends (or whatever they call it to lazy to look it up right now)
