Well, it was obvious you had to do something with the petpet, so I figure you'll just try anything. Btw: the petpet doesn't change position during one minute, so there has to be something with one minute things.
Somethings are very difficult, like the inflation rate. I think you just need a TNT hint for that.

Trial and error - then people would post here or neoboards, etc. their results and make comparisons, compile statistics, until we got the final solution. I sat clicking on various combos on the valeaous for an hour. If it wasn't for others posting and sharing their findings, I'd still be clicking. Probably never would have found the bandages, either! The more people working on it, the more likely it is that we can crack it.

Is it strange that I've been refreshing between two browsers for over an hour and no bandages? Even though I followed all the directions.

Have you gotten the other items at least? Try do something else, then go for the bandages.
I assume you are trying to refresh at around the 59th second?

Well, I personally feel that ScottNak's description of the plot at the start is perfectly adequate - it gives all the information you need to know. I followed it all the way through, and I never got lost through it. The only time I got a bit confused was when I forgot to go and get the pie from the Coliseum, which was a bit foolish.

Also make sure you hover your mouse in the area where the bandages SHOULD appear because it isnt all that noticeable when they do appear until you get a nice link.... and remember to click continue once you get them

Hey you guys,
A friend of mine thought of this:
what if the story of the gatherer isn't really finished?
All the other stories end with e very definite ending, and this one kind of leaves you questioning....
If not, coudn't all of the cat/aisha statues have something to do with it?

Hey everyone. Firstly, i'd like to thank all you guys for your help, i could never have done the gatherer without everyone. Secondly, for the people who've been having trouble with the bandages, it has been suggested that they only appear if you refresh 29 secs after the minute or 59 secs after the minute. Not sure if this is true, but thought I'd post it in case it helps anyone.

did you ever notice that there are two parts with golden guard statues, flags and stars on the front of the houses? and if you look through the window you see in Jerdana's picture, you see the flag of the island. I'm thinking she's there.
