Is anyone else here sick of plots where you have to sit around and wait for the next thing to happen? I'm bored, make something happen TNT!

Okay.

I've come to the decision, that we are NOT supposed to just look for the constellations. Otherwise there wouldn't be the coordinates (on the telescope I mean.)

So I think we need to get our coordinates somehow and then we would be able to match them. I also think it is possible that we have found it just by looking and it didn't work because we didn't do something before.

What we know is:
1) gems are the same for everyone
2) maps are different - || -
3) the end of the url on the gempage is different - || - (at least so I've heard.)

My brain sees only one thing. The urls MUST be somehow related to the coordinates. No one has just figured out how.
So I'm now putting up all of the endings to my lupes petpage and would like to collect them from at least 10 others. to see if there is ANY connection.
(you can pm me the url endings. just remember to say which statue it was. :))

It's either sit around and do nothing or have it all released at once, finish it in three days and not have another plot for 5+ months...

I seriously want someone to make a guide to the constellations because I'm using BRUTE FORCE!

Brute force eh? I'd like some of that... It's already 3:08 and i have no idea why the heck i am still awake doing this... anyone have anything they'd like for me to check out? That, or just tell me to go to sleep xD That might work =P Heck, I don't even know WHAT I'm doing... haha, so if you want someone to make a guide about the constellations, be more specific about what kind of guide =)

Okay. I have I stupid question. How do you map? I'm not that techno-savvy so I'm not sure how you guys do it.

You know i don't think anyone has bothered to ask this... but how are we supposed to learn about the hero's by finding their constelations?

Sun Mar 26, 2006 12:16 pm

Ok, so I've been trying over and over and... nothing.

But I came up with another theory, which I hope to be wrong... the maps have changed for some of you, and for a limited period of time only. I haven't seen mine changing yet, but I'm not here all the time, obviously.

What if the constellations can ONLY be found when the map changes? :o Remember the LDP? When we needed to wait untill we have light on the city model in order to use the useless crystal? What if we have to do something like that again...?

There, if someone is able to figure out a pattern. (I need more for that!)

Is it the get star data that changes or the view from the telescope or both? Can someone tell me what time on the hour it has been changing for them? I have been trying to find a change since yesterday morning and have not found one yet.

I was thinking along the same lines. I also thought that we might need a better telescope to see all of the sky. Or maybe we need to find something in our sky and then be send on a wild goose chase to obtain a bigger and better telescope, with the Lenny in the libraby acting as our fortune teller did last time. ...

Couple of observations though:
I noticed someone say that this was only a small plot. How do they know that??
I can't remember where I found my rag and oil, it just was there behind the first statue I looked at. With the last plot tnt made it so that you could reference back to what you needed to do next.
TNT want to have a lot of people to be able to do the plot, so I think we are looking too deep. Remember last time you didn't need to know the names of the hieroglypics, we just needed to find the puzzle given to us.. i.e the toenails of the chef. So no knowledge required just puzzling skills.

-It was in the editorial, which has been quoted far too many times for me to be bothered to do the same.
-It's already widely rubbished that you won't need to know the statue as people just refreshed on one statue and obtained it.
-The fact is, anyone still looking is just desperately trying to deny the obvious that we have gone as far as we can for now. As many have said, actually finding the constelations will probably be far easier than all the work we're currently putting in.

I've been playing with the images using Photoshop Elements but not having any success. I saved the 12 gem pictures then loaded them along with the starmap then resized the gems pics by 50% (because the starmap is created half-size). This gives the starmap 604x602 pixels and the gems 150x150. What I can't figure out is how to make the gem pics transparent (or at least make the gems transparant). Does anyone know how to do this with Elements? Or is there another dawing tool that can do it?
