Location: It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
I made a piece of swiss cheese out of my constellations by removing the gems and leaving 'holes. I'm going through them one at a time in photoshop to see if I can match up any of the stars to the holes. I'm using the images at the same size and orientation they are found on the site.

No luck yet, and I'm getting really tired.

Also Soymimi, my coords go up to 590.

Hence why I noted that it goes to about +/- 540, give or take a bit. Mine go to 570 but I figured the happy medium would be around 540 seeing as that's what most people mentioned in the beginning.

Does anyone else think that TNT haven't even added any constelations yet and they are just letting us play connect the dots for no paticular reason until they tire of whatching us create inane theories that all mean nothing?

That is why they created the Whack-A-Staff game... for us to beat them silly if they do such things. :-)

I don't think we're supposed to use the constellations from the TCG cards. It was said you need at least 6 stars before you can submit it as a possible constellation... some of the cards have only 4 cards in a constellation. Maybe this is just a period of getting familiar with how the star gazing works, so everyone has a more even chance at the plot. The clues will come shortly.

Interesting to look at thought it may be, I'd like to never have to make another stinking map ever on Neo again. Plus, as my luck would have it, my modem is acting funky and rarely connecting.

No, there's usually some significance to it.

I agree. I also find it odd that it's been more than four hours since this stuff got uploaded and not one single person here or on the neoboards has found even one constellation yet. We have to be missing something.

I still can't figure out the gems, and it really bugs me.

Me neither. I did notice though there are what appear to be two different kinds of gem - some with black lines leaving them and some without (they're easy to spot if you blow-up the gem pic). There seems to be about 6 gems on each pic which don't have the black lines and I had hoped these might indicate the actual constellation gems that needed to be joined but unless our stars look different at different times of day (as real constellations "move around the sky" I still don't see a way to recognise them.

I have a feeling that whack-a-staff is going to become very popular in the fallowing weeks.

Nonono, not the stars themselves, but the TCG card numbers.

If it helps anyone's investigation, my coordinates only go up to 340. Maybe easier luck for me, then?

um the box just shows where the crosshairs are but the coordinates exceed 340 on both axis.

Does this help? This is my Altador night sky: does it match anyone elses?

Finally made it to the end of the thread!! I've been looking over most of the people who have posted their sky. Kess, I see possibly two constellations along the left side of yours. About 2/3 of the way down, I can "see" the sleeper...possibly! It is an open V shape, but with more curve and well, ok more like eyebrows, duh. And at the bottom *clarifying again, that TO ME* it looks like Marak's wave upside down. Anyway, thought you should try those two areas.

One question for everyone: I have found what looks like the Gatherer and the Thief on mine, but they don't have 5 or 6 stars that you need before being able to submit. Any ideas? I guess I could just keep clicking random stars around the area, but it is kind of time consuming...and it is 1:30 in the morning!

thanks

Oh, by the way...none of you actually *know* me, new here and have been trying to catch up to the end of this thread for the past week!! So, I finally joined & decided to jump right in. I did read all of the Welcome & stuff, but didn't have time to intro myself, since something was finally happening in Altador. YEA!

I'm actually beginning to sift through all my star coordinates. I have a ridiculous number of stars. But it'll be interesting to see how the colours play out...
