Maybe the lutari paint brush will make your pet really colorful like that. It looks nice from what I can tell from the images. I think someone posted the paint brush will only work on the lutari but from those images I think we can assume it will work with other pets as well. I kind of like that look, it reminds me of a parrot or tribal markings.

What if all of this Lutari Island stuff is TNT's version of Mardi Gras Island and it's released tomorrow (Fat Tuesday)? That would rock! Of course, it would never in a million years turn out that way. This stuff just looks so festive!

Yeah I tried looking up lutariisland and lutari colors at neolodge but nothing shows up. I wish I could see one of the unrelased colors!

Oh please, let it be so....
Although, I have to say I'm not sure why they bothered with a Lutari Island paint brush when they already have a Mystery Island paint brush. Granted, the colors are different (judging by the plushies and stamp images), but the overall theme seems very similar. They could have put that effort towards, oh, I dunno, decent mutant pets or something.

It's not even mutant!! It should have two horns, or no horns or something! And some other disfiguration, too. Right now it's just an ugly-colored uni with dreadlocks.
As for the lutari stuff... nice.

That's be great!. It's a shame I won't be home tomorrow to see if it happens or not though. Lundi Gras, Mardi Gras, 16 hours of sleeping after partying like there was no tomorrow.

They could at least realease some new stuff. I remember a long time ago I made a mardi-gra style usul that was white with a multicolor mane and one of those masks on a stick. It was cute. I'd like to see something like that.

well Tuedays new is already up unless they're planning to release it with Wednesday's news that comes out on Tuesday. Would be very cool!
That Uni is dreadful!!!! I don't think I have ever used the word dreadful before, but never had the need till now! That nose is all wrong and it does look like a child drew it. Dreadful!

Man, I didn't even think about the fact that the news that came out today was really Tuesday's news (and I'm the one that posted the news thread...shows how oblivious I am). I suppose this throws my Lutari Island=Mardi Gras-Neopets style idea right out the window. Oh well.
Just a quick off-topic comment, I hate the way TNT is doing the news now. I hate getting the news a day early.

well i hope we can get the lutari day soon. I love the stuff. I actually like the lutari uni on the postage stamp. Maybe that's what the pets will look like? But to bad lutari day wont be the 1st of march because of:
March - Gadgadsbogen - The Mystery Island festival of fruit!
then:
Mar 2nd - Uni Day, A holiday honouring Neopia's most vain creatures
and then right after:
Mar 3rd - Cancelled due to lack of interest
maybe the 4th since news is on the weekend.
I do hate this new schedule too though. It throws me off schedule.

By the looks of the uni on the stamp, it looks like a regular pet painted with shiny colours, nothing else. I don't see that as very appealing
