Just wonderin' but could you tell you've been cookie grabbed through source codes?
Still need answer
I'm not sure. I don't know what's been done by TNT and what's being done by these rotten people who're still cg'ing. I know that at least for awhile alot of the cg codes were being typed in white font, meaning if you just view source you won't see anything. You have to highlight everthing in a user edited area to see the js or whatever they're using.
I wouldn't take the time, personally. If you get cg'ed and want to see, get the view source, minimize that, then go directly to user pref and get that password changed ASAP. That is why I suggested having your user pref page open in another window or tab, and have a list of new passwords typed out on a notepad. You could just c&p your current, then the new one in the spaces provided. Then I guess you could go and look at the source page.
Ira, from my understanding of things I've seen posted, no it's not completely safe. Much better ... Thank you TNT ... but not completely. Notes cheshyr1's post above.
cheshyr1, I'm really sorry for your friend getting caught in this mess. Using the PIN right now for everything you can is SO important. If nothing else, it would definitely slow someone down from being able to get into your account and taking your items/np/pets.
It's really annoying, maddening and frustrating that TNT does go and look for and find vulnerabilities, fix them and there has to be people who have nothing better to do than go in and try to find new ones. It's ridiculous. These scriptkiddies should be very glad they're not my child, trust me. It would not be pretty.
