About the 2 Meerca Henchmen Avie

Can a user get both the avie or just one? I already got one, if I battle the meerca brothers again, would I get the other one? (I really don't want to battle them again, took me forvever to win the last one )

Also, I tried searching on the forums but didn't find the answer anywhere... can anyone tell me, for the pack rat avatar, do you have to have 1000 TYPES of items in your deposit box or 1000 actual items (like 500 dungs and 500 tombola t-shirts)??

Is it awarded on the "win" screen, or can it pop up on any of the "getting warmer," "no, I am not there," etc. screens.

Can you get it by refreshing on the "You already looked there!" screen?

I hope the Skarl joke really doesn't depend on it being the Peophin joke. I'm going to start adding Skarl to my dailies and frankly I can't be bothered with entering all that every time...

...given how many possible combinations there are, I don't think anyone would have stumbled upon it if only one combination worked.

I don't think it was ever possible to get both. I know it was rumoured for awhile but I have yet to see anyone with both. Not saying you can't, just saying I've never heard of it.

Also - on PPT's main page, there is a 'Defenders of Neopia' avatar that may be released today (it's not, of course, but they said it might). I have never seen or heard of that avatar. Was it actually released, and how did one get it? None of the Neopian help sites I've been onto even list it.

No. To get that av, you need to paint your Buzz any color at the Rainbow Fountain after completing a Fountain Faerie quest.

Unfortunately not. You use Paintbrushes at the Rainbow Pool not the Rainbow Fountain and its the Rainbow Fountain you need for the Buzzin' avatar. You need a Fountain Faerie quest in order to get a Fountain pass.

Actually, I considered my post to be an explanation as to why a Paintbrush would specifically not work and what the differences were not necessarily just repeating what _lexxia had said. If all I would have said was exactly what _lexxia said, I wouldn't have said it. And I don't appreciate being mocked for it.
