Okay, here's the dilly-o. First, I'm new, so Hi. Second, I've been following along and trying to keep up. I'm working on getting my fourth crystal. Now, I have done everything great until nowish. I read my pawprint-looking symbol in YBR, but misunderstood the directions posted here and instead of reading that in white, I read my faerie symbol in white, then moved on. Well, I realized that wasn't correct. So I went back, read the pawprint in white, and moved on to my second symbol. Still nothing. So i re-entered the previous pattern on the pawprint (YBR) and didn't re-get that clue for my white pawprint. Now, do I have to re-start with the first symbol or carry on... I'm so confused. I tried the 9 color combo posted for my second symbol and got nothing. Any help would be SOOOO greatly appreciated!!

Hi you should have 4 blank symbols from your tablet. In the order they appear 1 - 16 write the symbols down... then you have to visit them in primary colour order... like if your first symbol is Tep then go to the catalog room see where the red, blue yellow locations are and then visit them, if you don't get a new location then go to the next order red, yellow, blue, if that doesn't work yellow, red, blue and so on... there are only six possible orders for each symbol. I hope I understood what you wanted to know lol

Usually it's a good rule that if you are stuck on one set of symbols, repeat the previous set then continue.

First make sure you are stuck, unless that takes more time than repeating the prev. sequence.

If you are good at patterns, and prefer to spend time doodling rather than clicking, you can make your own 9-color sequence. Make one for every sequence, based on your scroll locations and what combinations you already used. (They get shorter each time)

Okay, I think I got it for my second crystal.

My first symbol is a green BEN. I break it down into a blue BEN and a yellow BEN. Since my card catalogue goes YBR, I read the yellow BEN scroll first then the blue BEN scroll. After that, I find a green BEN scroll in the location I'm given and repeat that for every other color. Am I correct?

On another note, I want to murder the person who decided the stairs to the basement should be in the top corner of the first floor. No, scratch that, I want to murder the person who designed the basement.

Yes, you are correct. Read the yellow, then the blue, then green and then go to the next symbol.

I hate the basement! It's a firetrap! It gives my pet claustrophobia! Don't start thinking about which block you would blow up first so you can go straight to the toxicology reports without winding through ALL those other insane rooms!

And thinking about blowing things up, dont you think all that blasting through the wall with the last crystal would have opened up some new passages in the basement? It's only fair.

anyone considered reading scrolls from these rooms...

perhaps we can find out something about nabile? Although, if you try to read scrolls in any relationship to your lights, forget it, since there are no red, blue, yellow for any of your blanks. And in my case my blank symbols are duplicates of my other symbols, so you can't
formulate any kind of reasonable pattern

I tried random reading of scrolls in these rooms as well, but nothing.

Tried reading statue symbol scrolls also.

I believe we are in a resting period, however the fortune teller is almost taunting us again to figure out how we can "pull off" the wedding. So I thought I'd look around some more. It's not like she's ever taunted us before without it leading to a clue (ahem, watching furniture making is remarkable)
