Lost Desert Plot Discussion #101 (Summary in First Post)

Hi there. Ok, so I've been lurking here pretty much since this plot started. Thanks to all of you whose posts have helped the slowpokes like me.

Anyway, I happened to notice that there are three symbols that aren't on my tablet. There are also three colors. It could be a coincidence, certainly, and I'm skeptical that after all of the tedium that this phase would come down to only 6 possible combinations, but I did wonder. Do other tablets have all but three of the symbols? Mine for example, has every symbol except for the paw, the cup, and the oval with the bars on the top and bottom (sorry...I don't know all the names of the images).

mabey the card catalogs are like that too

There's still all those other scrolls in the Temple too, we can read them, but nothing else. (as far as I know)
I wonder if they will come into play sometime?

I was really excited until I realized that I was only missing 2 symbols from my tablet. Good idea, but I think yours is a coincidence.

And just because Dirtside is Mr. Insane on Neopets, doesn't make it true here. I'm all for looking for the next part, but it doesn't add up that it's all just out there waiting. I know they were trying to make this plot harder, but given the quality and amount of people working really hard on the plot don't you think someone would have found something by now?

The PPT username "dirtside" is brand-new. That post is the only one that person has made. Why would the real Mr. Insane wait this long to create a PPT account--if he was going to create one at all? Anyone can find out Mr. Insane's Neopets' username, come to the PPT forums, and make an account w/ that name.

The link did pick up my PPT handle, Keisbuddy, rather than my Neopets username, SpaceElf1. But that only proves the real Mr. Insane has chosen to code his userlookup to pick up on a person's PPT handle & use it. It doesn't prove anything about the "dirtside" who posted. Is it him, or not?

That said, I noticed that Mr. Insane's userlookup on Neopets changed as I watched. He had written he was working on the Tyrannian Land War. Now "Tyrannina Land War" is lined through, and Lost Desert Plot is written after the lined-through words.

"Dirtside" on the PPT boards might be Mr. Insane, or not. I had considered Neomailing him, then realized that of course he wouldn't reply, & probably has the entire world blocked from Neomails.

Still no &*#@ light.

Edit: OK, while I was writing this, Mr. Insane changed his userlookup. So it isn't a program to pick up PPT forum handles! He's actually reading the board, and goofing with his userlookup--thus showing he's the genuine article. Cool.

Still, folks, be cautious. This is an isolated incident, among several hundred Neopets users who like to have fun messing up other people's enjoyment. Just because someone comes onto a board--ANY board--& claims to be on TNT, doesn't make it true. Be cautious. A significant clue is that most members of TNT seem to be able to spell and use grammatical English.

I love skeptics. My other point is that even if you are Mr. Insane, it's not very fair to the millions of Neopet members who don't frequent PPT if you help us out like that, even if you didn't give huge clues, or spoon feed us anything.
